"It´s fun to stay in the Akatsuki!" - Itachi 2/3

Viime perjantaina lähdin jälleen kummitädilleni tekemään Itachi-cosplaytani, ja jo illalla leikkasin mustan takkikankaan (oli muuten ihanaa leikattavaa trikoon ja fleecen jälkeen). Jo aikaisemmin viime viikolla olin tehnyt Akatsuki-pilvet valmiiksi, ja hommahan ei ollut niin yksinkertainen, mitä voisi luulla... Mutta, sain ne tosiaan tehtyä! Pilvet on valmistettu huovasta (punainen osa) ja fleecestä (valkoinen osa).
Lauantaina sitten aloitin takin tekemisen sekä housujen viimeistelemisen (paitaa tehtiin lauantain ja sunnuntain välisenä yönä, kun väsytti jo niin paljon, että oltiin täysin hereillä).
Last Friday I visited my godmother again to make my Itachi cosplay and in the evening I already cut the black coat fabric (it was so nice to cut after tricot and fleece). Earlier last week I had done the Akatsuki clouds ready and it wasn´t as simple as it seems... But I managed to make them! I made the clouds of felt (?? the red part) and fleece (the white part).
On Saturday I started to make the cloak and finish the trousers (I almost finished the trousers in the night between Saturday and Sunday when I was so tired that I was totally awake).

Lauantainahan tosiaan tavoitteena oli viimeistellä housut ja saada takki alkuun... No, housut tuli viimeisteltyä, ja takki... Hupsista, sepäs tulikin tehtyä sitten kokonaan!

 -kaulus tuettiin pystyyn tukevalla huovalla, tukikankaalla ja luilla

On Saturday my goal was to finish the trousers and begin to make the cloak... Well, I finished the trousers, and the cloak... Oops, I finished it too!
A little information about the cloak:
 -the cloak is based on one plan though we had to modify it
 -the neck part is made of steady felt, backcloth and bones
 -the cloak has (of course) lining
 -closing the cloak will be done with poppers

Eli siinäpä tuo cossi sitten melkeinpä valmiina! Päivityksessä 3/3 väsään enää vain otsapannan, kaulakorun ja (jos kehitän jostakin fiksua materiaalia) sormuksen. Mahdollisimman pian -kenties jo huhtikuussa- aloitan Levin ja Cornelian ompelun, sekä viimeistelen Lukani. Kiirettä pitää, jos Animeconiin haluan saada kaikki valmiiksi, kuten tarkoitus olisi. Tämän lisäksi pitäisi väsätä myös Grelliä. Animeconin lippu minulla on jo, ja Traconin lippu tilattiin juuri eilen, joten ihan hyvältä tällä hetkellä näyttää! Peruukkeja tosin pitää vielä metsästää... No, siitä selvitään, kuten aina ennenkin.
Well, that costume is almost ready! In update 3/3 I´ll just make the forehead protector, necklace and (if I get some useful material) the ring. As soon as possibly -maybe in April- I´ll start to sew my Levi and Cornelia and finish my Luka. I´ll be in a hurry if I want to use all those costumes at Animecon (that´s how I planned it). I should also make some parts to my Grell cosplay. I already have a ticket to Animecon and my Tracon ticket was ordered yesterday so everything seems to go pretty well now! Well, I have to seek some wigs... I´ll survive from it, like always before.

Cornelian shoecoverit & Itachi 1/3 / Cornelia´s shoecovers and Itachi 1/3

Kuten taisin jo viime päivityksessä kenties mainita, väsäsin Cornelian shoecovereita viikonloppuna. Ei, ne eivät ole valmiit, mutta hyvällä alulla kuitenkin. Päätin tehdä kappaleet kengän luonnollisten saumojen mukaan, ja värjään saumakohdat sitten violeteiksi. Lopputulos ei kenties tule olemaan maailman kaunein, mutta olen kenkien kanssa totaalinen torvelo.
I guess I mentioned in last update that I made parts to Cornelia´s shoecovers last weekend. No, they aren´t ready but in a good start. I decided that it would be the best if the parts were based on the shoe´s natural lines (I´ll paint the lines purple later). The shoes won´t be the most beautiful in the world but I really suck at making shoes.

Tänään pääsin sitten aloittamaan Itachin valmistuksen! Heräsin siinä 06.50 (hyvää huomenta), ja yhdeksän maissa olinkin jo kiinnittelemässä kaavoja kankaaseen. Housut tehtiin samalla kaavalla kuin Jamesin housut viime vuonna, mutta tällä kertaa ne tulivat vasta puolivalmiiksi, joten niistä saadaan sitten odottaa kuvia myöhempään kertaan. Paita sen sijaan saatiin melkeiin valmiiksi, enää puuttuu oikeastaan vain verkko-osa! Takkia en vielä aloittanut, se kuuluu seuraavan kerran projekteihin.
Sininen osa asua on tehty trikoosta, jonka oikea väri ei pääse oikeuksiinsa ottamissani kuvissa. Referenssikuvassani asu ei ollut musta, vaan pikemminkin omituinen sekoitus harmaata, sinistä ja violettia... Tai siten minä sen värin näen, mutta ihmisethän näkevät värisävyt eri tavoin. Jos nyt kuitenkin antaisin kuvien puhua puolestaan.
Today I started to make my Itachi costume! I woke up at 06.50 a.m (good morning) and at nine o'clock I was already pinning the plans to the fabric. I made Itachi´s trousers with the same plan than James´ trousesrs last year but I wasn´t able to finish these this time so you´ll get pictures later. I almost finished the shirt - actually it´s missing only the web part! I haven´t started to make the cloak yet, it´ll be next time´s project.
The blue part of the costume is made of tricot and its real colour doesn´t show in the pics because of the light. In the reference picture I used that part of the costume wasn´t black, it was strange mix of gray, blue and purple... Or that´s how I see that colour but people see the colour shades in different ways. Well, here are some pics to tell you more.

Tähän siis päästiin, housutkin tulivat melko hyvään malliin jo, mutta niistä minulla ei ole kuvia. Seuraavalla kerralla tosiaan paidan verkko-osuus, housujen valmistuminen sekä takin aloittaminen! Tässä välissä saatan toteuttaa joitain pienempiä projekteja taas... No, tuleepahan valmistettua, ettei viime hetkillä tarvitse niistä alkaa panikoida! Nyt harkitsen vakavasti nukkumista, tosin harkitsemisen tasolle se taitaa vielä jäädä - postauksen aneemisuudesta voi kenties päätellä väsymystasoni, mutta päätin kuitenkin tehdä tämän tänään, ettei jäisi roikkumaan.
This is what I managed to do, the trousers are almost finished but I don´t have any pics of them. Next time I´ll make the web part of the shirt, the trousers will be finished and I´ll start to make the cloak! I guess I may do some smaller projects again... Well, if I do them now I don´t have to panic about them later! I guess I should go to bed now but I doubt I´ll do that - you may see from the text how tired I am but I decided to make this update today so I wouldn´t forget it.

Ystäväni Vanessa sitten päätti täräyttää minua haasteella, ja koska minulla ei parempaakaan tekemistä ole, ajattelin tehdä sen nyt. Cosplay-kuulumiseni löytyvät tekstin lopusta.

...well, I´m lazy and I won´t challenge 11 people. If you find my questions interesting you can of course answer to them if you want to!

Cosplay-kuulumisia? No, Cornelian kenkiä olen tässä pari päivää väsännyt (tuskaatuskaatuskaatuskaatuskaa) ja perjantaina alankin sitten ommella Itachia! Olen myös harkinnut tekeväni Levin jo Kikuconiin, jos satun siellä pyörähtämään. Cosvisionin jätän välistä, Desuconiin en edes vaivaudu yrittämään - kyseinen con ei minua liiemmin ole koskaan kiinnostanut, ja sitä paitsi: jos käyn Lahdessa talvella, voin aivan hyvin mennä Kuopioon kesällä.

Some stuff related to cosplay? Well, I´ve done Cornelia´s shoes for a couple of days now (painpainpainpainpain) and next Friday I´ll start sewing Itachi! I´ve also thought that I could make Levi to Kikucon if I went there. I´ll skip Cosvision and I don´t even think about going to Desucon - said con has never been interesting enough to me and if I go to Lahti in winter I can go to Kuopio in summer.

Parit meikkitestit ja Sasuken parantelun aloittaminen./A couple of make-up tests and beginning to fix the Sasuke costume.

En voi todeta muuta kuin olevani helpottunut siitä, ettei minun tarvitse lähteä Frostiin tänä vuonna - en ole nimittäin saanut otsikossa mainittujen asioiden lisäksi valmiiksi yhtään mitään. No, tällä kertaa puursinkin sitten meikkitestien parissa. Meikit ovat minulle kaikkein vaikein asia koko cosplay-harrastuksessa, sillä nykyään en meikkaa lähes koskaan. Silmänrajauskynä ehti kyllä emo-/kasarivuosinani tulla melkoisen tutuksi, mutta ei sen käyttö ihan ammattimaista ollut... *yskäisy*
Mutta siis, aiheenahan tällä kertaa ovat Itachin ja Levin meikit. Itachin sovelsin omasta päästäni, Levin meikin taas tein omana variaationani eräästä tutorialista, jonka onnistuin poimimaan YouTuben ihmeellisestä maailmasta. Kuvat eivät sitten ole niitä maailman laadukkaimpia, mutta yrittäkää ymmärtää, puhelimeni on jo vanha herra (ja nimeltänsä muuten Tero).

I´m more than relieved that I don´t have to go to Frostbite this year - I have done nothing more but those things mentioned in the title. Well, this time I made a couple of make-up tests. In my opinion doing the make-up is the hardest thing in cosplay because usually I don´t wear make-up at all. In my emo/80's rock- years (a few years ago) I used eyeliner pretty much but let´s say that I wasn´t a professional... *cough*
This time I tested both Itachi´s and Levi´s make-up. Itachi´s was created by me, Levi´s is my own variation of a tutorial I saw on YouTube. The pictures aren´t blessed with quality but please try to understand, my mobile phone is an old man (and called Tero btw).

Itachi

Yllättävää kyllä, tämän herran meikit olivat vaikeammat tehdä kuin Levin, vaikka olin luullut juuri päinvastoin. Ilokseni totesin sharingan-linssieni käyvän vielä, sillä en halunnut hankkia mangekyo sharinganeja (eihän Itachi sitä koko ajan edes käytä). Viivat Itachin kasvoilla olivat kaikkein pirullisimmat tehdä, nimim. kulutti siihen noin kaksikymmentä minuuttia. Tulin myös huomanneeksi, että otsapanta minun on tehtävä itse - tuo nimittäin aiheuttaa minulle järkyttävän peruukkifeilauksen.
It was surprising to notice that Itachi´s make-up was much harder to do than Levi´s. I was happy when I noticed that I could still use my sharingan lenses because I didn´t want to buy mangekyo sharingan lenses (Itachi doesn´t even use them all the time). The lines on Itachi´s cheeks were the most devilish thing to do - I spent almost twenty minutes to them. I also noticed that I should do the forehead protector myself - that one causes me a huge wig fail.

Emm.. I´m not usually that green. o__O

Levi

Tuon tutorialin pohjalta tein siis oman variaationi tästä meikistä (tutorial © Shikarius Cosplays). Pyydän jo nyt alussa anteeksi kulmakarvojani, mutta meikkivoiteeni ei ollutkaan tarpeeksi peittävää... Sen korjaan kyllä viimeistään coniin mennessä. Ja miksikö tein oman variaationi tästä? No, silmän muoto selittänee aika paljon. Tämän lisäksi minulla ei ollut kovin tummia värejä käytössäni, puhumattakaan nestemäisestä eyelinerista (paitsi mustasta). No, itse ainakin pidän noista, ja muutaman saamani mielipiteen mukaan ne ovat hyvät. Pyrin myös vähän "luonnollisempaan" lopputulokseen, sillä se näyttää lärvissäni paremmalta. Suosittelen tuota tutorialia kuitenkin lämpimästi~
I based my own variation on that tutorial (tutorial © Shikarius Cosplays). First I´d like to apologize because of my eyebrows but my make-up wasn´t as covering as I wished... I´ll fix my eyebrows before the con. And why I made my own variation of this? Well, the shape of my eyes explains pretty much. I didn´t have very dark colours to use, not to mention a liquid eyeliner (except the black on). Well, I´m pleased with my make-up and some people have said that it is pretty good. I also wanted to have more "natural" look because it looks better on my face. I recommend that tutorial very much, though~

Feilaava kuvakulma on feilaava, mutta parempaakaan kuvaa ei ole .__./Failed pic is failed but I don´t have better one .__.

Kuten huomaatte, tuo meikki ei muistuta kovin paljon tutorialin meikkiä, mutta perushommelit (kuten varjostukset ja värimaailman) otin kuitenkin siitä.
As you can see my version isn´t very similar to the tutorial but basic things (for example shading and colours) I learned from it.

Ja sitten sen Sasuken fiksailuun. Aloittelin kaikkein pahimmin feilanneesta osiosta, also known as käsisuojista. En edes halunnut muistella niitä vanhoja kolmiosaisia suojia, vaan päätin vaihteeksi tehdä homman "kunnolla". Käsivarteni perusteella piirsin kaavan (jota jouduin hieman leventämään) ja sen jälkeen leikkasin pohjakankaasta senmallisen kappaleen.
And then the beginning of fixing the Sasuke costume. I started from the most epic failure, also known as arm protectors. I didn´t even want to remember those old ones (that were in three parts) so I decided to do this thing "well". I drew the plan (I used my own arm there and still I had to make the plan more sizable) and after that I cut the right shaped piece of fabric.

Tämän jälkeen leikkelinkin sitten pienempiä kappaleita valkoisesta kankaasta ja ompelin tuohon kiinni. Kiinnitys käteen hoituu tarranauhalla. Eivät nämä vieläkään mitkään kaunokaiset ole, mutta helvetisti paremmat kuin edeltäjänsä.
After this I cut smaller pieces of white fabric and sewed them onto that. I´ll use velcro to close the little gap between the sides. These aren´t really beautiful but sure as hell they´re better than the ones I made last summer.

Huomenna sitten alkaakin se lomaksi kutsuttu, jonka aikana yritän saada Itachin asusta ainakin osan tehtyä, sekä kenties jotakin muutakin siinä matikan kertaamisen ohella (ja Hetalian katsomisen). Cornelian kenkiäkin voisi harkita, ja sen erään pipon aloittamista. Jösses, tunnen itseni laiskaksi... Onneksi ei tosiaankaan tarvinnut mennä Frostiin, repisin tällä hetkellä varmaan hiukset päästäni ja varmaan päänikin irti. Olkaa hyvät ja ottakaa vastaan tämä groteski mielikuva.
Tomorrow begins the thing called "vacation" and during it I try to make some parts of Itachi´s costume and maybe something else too - well, I have to study maths (and watch Hetalia). I guess I could do Cornelia´s shoes too and start to make that beanie I´ve told about. Pfff, I feel so lazy... Thank goodness I don´t have to go to Frostbite because if I was going there I would be tearing the hairs off my head and maybe I would tear my head off too. Jotain valmista? Kyllä!/Something ready? Yes!

Kävin tässä jokin aika sitten jälleen Raumalla. Tarkoituksenani oli ostaa kangasta vain Levin huiveihin, mutta jotenkin se eskaloitui siihen, että ostin myös Cornelian hamekankaan sekä tekonahan hänen kenkiinsä (luovuin maalausideastani). Tekonahka ei kenties ole tismalleen oikean väristä, mutta minun budjetillani en ala valittaa. Kyllä niistä silti hyvät tulee, ei se niin katastrofaalinen väriero ole - violetti vain olisi saanut vivahtaa hieman enemmän siniseen kuin nyt. Ostin myös 50 metriä kaavapaperia... No, eipähän ainakaan heti lopu kesken.
A while ago I visited Rauma again. I was supposed to buy fabrics to Levi´s scarves only but somehow it escalated to buying Cornelia´s skirt fabric and a fake leather - I´ll make her bootcovers with it (I gave up on a painting idea). The fake leather may not be the right right colour but with my budget there´s no point in complaining. They´ll be good, the shade difference isn´t a complete disaster - the purple should have been a bit more blue than now. I also bought 50 meters of plan (really, what´s the right word!?) paper... Well, at least it lasts long.

Voisin ensimmäiseksi ehkä sepustella jotakin Levin huiveista. Ne nyt eivät olleet mitenkään erikoisen vaikea projekti tehdä - otin vain erään bandanani mitat ja piirsin kaavat suuren kalenterin syrjällä, koska minulla ei ollut tarpeeksi pitkää viivotinta. Nyt kun vihdoin ja viimein muistin myös ostaa nuppineuloja, ompeluprosessikin oli paljon mukavampi toteuttaa!
First of all I could tell a little about Levi´s scarces. They weren´t a hard project to do - they´re based one of my bandana scarves and I drew the plans with my calendar because I don´t have long enough ruler. Now when I finally remembered to buy some pins it was much funnier to sew the scarves!

Sitten hieman juttua Itachin kengistä. Sain jonkin omituisen inspiraation viikonloppuna, ja tuloksena olivat ninjakengät. Näitä oli mukavampi tehdä kuin Sasuken kenkiä... Eivät nämäkään maailman kauneimmat ole, mutta kengän kunnon ja jalkani virheasennon huomioon ottaen oli pakko tehdä joitakin kompromisseja, jotta nuo edes pysyisivät jalassa.
Then Itachi´s shoes. I got a weird inspiration last weekend and the result is ninja shoes. They were nicer to do than Sasuke´s... These aren´t the most beautiful shoes in the world but I had to take into notice the condition of the shoe and my ankle that is not in normal position and make some compromises that the shoes would fit well.

Siinä sitten ne! Seuraavaksi Lukan kuulokkeiden perhosiin, joista piirsin mallikuvan jo aikaisemmin. Kävin ostamassa materiaalit eilen, ja alkavathan nuo jo kenties näyttääkin joltain.
There they are! Next: the butterflies of Luka´s headphones. I drew the butterfly earlier and yesterday I bought the materials. Well, they actually somehow look like they should look like.

Ja lopulta sitten siihen, minkä sain tänään - Itachin peruukin! :33 Se on kenties hieman pitkä, mutta oh well, en lähde leikkaamaan. Tuhoaisin kuitenkin vain koko peruukin vahingossa... Loistava laatu, paljon kuitua ja skintop, tarvitseeko muuta sanoa? Gurea hyödynsin taas kuvaajana ^.^
And now the thing I got today - Itachi´s wig! It may be a little long but oh well, I won´t cut it. I would just destroy the wig by accident... Great quality, much fiber and skintop, do I have to say something more? Gure was my photographer again ^.^

Ja mitäpä sitten tämän jälkeen? No, Itachin asu pitäisi tehdä ja otsapantakin modata, Cornelian peruukin noudan Tampere Kupliista, ja neidin kengätkin voisi tässä tehdä. Grelliin ostin ketjua, ja nekin voisi kaiketi tässä piakkoin väsätä. Levin titan beltsejäkin pitäisi alkaa suunnitella... No, eipähän lopu tekeminen kesken! Olen ollut kenties hieman epäaktiivinen, mutta eiköhän tämä tästä pikkuhiljaa (pakkohan se on, kun deadlinet lähestyvät liian nopealla vauhdilla) ^.^
And what after this? Well, I should make Itachi´s costume and modify the headband, I´ll get Cornelia´s wig at Tampere Kuplii and I could make her shoes too. I bought some chain for Grell and I could do them do. Also I should start to plan Levi´s titan belts... Well, I have much to do! I may have been pretty lazy but I promise I´ll get something done (I have to because deadlines are coming closer with too high speed) ^.^

Väsymystä ja pientä edistymistä!/Tiredness and some progress!

Tässä jokin aika sitten käväisin jälleen Raumalla, ja tällä kertaa mukaani tarttuivat Naruton 62. pokkari, hiuslakka peruukkien stailaukseen sekä kankaat Leviin, nahkaa lukuunottamatta. Paitakangas saattaa olla aavistuksen verran liian harmaa, mutta mene ja tiedä, se näyttää joka valossa vähän erilaiselta (tämänhetkisessä valaistuksessa suorastaan hyvältä).
A little while ago I visited Rauma again and this time I bought the 62nd book of Naruto, a hairspray (this one is for wig-styling) and fabrics to my Levi cosplay except the leather. The fabric to the shirt may be a little too gray but it looks different in every light (right now it looks pretty good) so...

Lukan meikit tulin testailleeksi tuossa eräänä päivänä. Kunnollisia valokuvia en saanut, mutta hieman osviittaa kuitenkin. Meikki näytti luonnossa huomattavasti paremmalta, mutta kuten sanottua, kuvasta näkee hieman sitä mitä sain aikaiseksi.
One day I tested Luka´s eye make-up. I don´t have very good pictures but you can see something directional from the picture. The make-up looked much better IRL but like I said you can see from the picture what I did.

Kulmakarvani eivät muuten näytä oikeasti noin paksuilta.../In real life my eyebrows aren´t that thick...

Kuten voi nähdä, käytin vain vähän mustaa kajaalia ja luotin referenssikuvan mukaisesti enemmän pinkkiin. Itse olen suhteellisen tyytyväinen, mutta eipä sillä, että tämä kovin vaativakaan meikki olisi ollut. Kenties lisään hieman tuota mustaa... Täytyy katsoa, mitä päätän tehdä.
As you can see I didn´t use black eyeliner as much as I used pink (that´s what the reference picture says). I´m pretty pleased with this make-up but this wasn´t so difficult to do. I may add more black to that make-up... Let´s see what I decide to do.

Aloitinhan minä niitä Itachin kenkiäkin. Paino sanalla aloitin... No, ainakin ne tuntuvat helpommilta tehdä kuin Sasuken kengät! Vielä nuokin ovat enemmän suunnittelun asteella, mutta enköhän kohta saa jotain aikaiseksi. Itachin eteen en sitten toistaiseksi ole muuta tehnytkään (koska siinähän on logiikkaa, että kiireisintä asua aletaan tehdä viimeiseksi, eikö totta?).
I started to make Itachi´s shoes too. Add the pressure on the word 'started'... Well, they seem to be easier to make than Sasuke´s shoes! I guess I´ll make these pretty soon even though they still are more planning than making at the time. I have done nothing more for Itachi (because there´s logic in making the busiest needed costume last, isn´t there?).

Yeah. Still in process but I guess they´ll be good! I and my friend decided to create a Finnish fansite of WonderNeePoos on Facebook. You can find the link from that text that is in Finnish. I guess I still have my fanboy-side... Well, it doesn´t hurt anyone.

Tänään kävin sitten väsäämässä kaavoja Lukan mekkoon. Löysinkin itse asiassa täydelliset kaavat, joskin hetken aikaa piti hieman päänsärkyillä sitä, minkä koon mukaan kaavat tehdään, mutta lopulta sekin selvisi ja sain kaavat piirrettyä! Vielä en liittänyt niitä kankaaseen (nuppineulojen puute vaivaa edelleen, tulkaa nyt joku potkaisemaan minua persuksille niiden hommaamisen kanssa), mutta enköhän minä pian senkin tee. Tästä tulee kyllä mielenkiintoinen ommeltava ja ensimmäinen itse tekemäni mekko - harvemmin sellaisia tosin käytänkään.
Today I made the plans (is it really that word?) to Luka´s dress. I found perfect ones but I had to think for a while what size they should be. In the end I solved that problem and drew the plans! I haven´t pinned them to the fabric yet (I still don´t have enough pins, somebody come and kick me so I would remember to buy them) but I guess I´ll do it pretty soon. This will be pretty interesting to sew and the first self-made dress ever - well, I hardly ever use dresses anyway.

Ja mitäs muuta olen saanut tehtyä? Biologianhommia, äidinkieleen liittyviä hommia sekä saksan- ja ruotsinkirjoitelmia. Jaksoa on jäljellä enää pari päivää, ja ensi viikolla alkaa koeviikko - eikä esimerkiksi äidinkielen portfolioni ole vieläkään valmis. No, ehdin kirjoittaa ne miniesseet huomennakin... Samalla kun säädän tuon biologianhommani loppuun. Yöunet tässä ovat hieman alkaneet taas mennä eivätkä vuorokauden tunnit tunnu riittävän, siitä siis väsymykseni johtuu. Mitä tästä taas opittiin: ei jätetä niitä hommia sinne viimeiselle viikolle...
And what else have I done? Stuff related to biology and Finnish and German essays & Swedish essays. There are only two more days to go and next week begins the exam week - and I´m not ready at all with my Finnish portfolio for example. Well, I´ll write those minimal essays tomorrow... At the same time when I´ll make that biology thing ready. I lack sleep again and 24 hours of the day don´t seem to be enough, that´s why I´m pretty tired. Note to self: never again leave the "must to do"-stuff to the last week...

Mutta joo. Tämän kuukauden tavoitteista ainakin osa jää tekemättä, esimerkiksi Sasuken peruukki - en omista kahta peruukkipäätä, joten sen säilyttämisestä tulisi enemmän kuin mielenkiintoinen kysymys. Kenties yritän kuitenkin saada nämä kouluhommat tehtyä pois alta, sen jälkeen voisi olla mukavammin aikaa tehdä muutakin. Varmaan teen kaavat Levin housuihinkin tässä melko pian, ja Itachin ompelu on aloitettava heti kun se on mahdollista. Myös Lukan kuulokkeita voisin alkaa väsätä - olisin aloittanutkin jo, ellei etsimäni hiuspanta piiloutuisi minulta! Mutta, näemme taas!
Yep. I won´t reach every goal I set to this month, for example the Sasuke wig - I don´t own two wigheads so maintaining that wig would be more than an interesting question. Maybe I´ll do this school stuff now and after that I´ll concentrate on cosplay. I guess I´ll draw the plans to Levi´s trousers pretty soon and I have to start sewing my Itachi costume asap. I also would start to make Luka´s headphones - I would have started already if the hairband I´m looking for didn´t hide from me! But, see you again!

Uusi peruukki ja pari kuvaa!/ A new wig and a couple of photos!

Hei! Kuten otsikko sanoo, sain siis tänään postista uuden peruukkini. Tämän oli tarkoitus tulla Levi-peruukikseni, mutta hetken aikaa peilin edessä seisottuani päätin, että teen tästä Sasuke-peruukkini (aion siis cossata kyseisen herran uudestaan mahdollisesti tämän vuoden puolella, Traconiin mennessä saisin cossin varmaankin korjailtua käyttökelpoiseksi). Levinkin peruukin tästä olisi kenties saanut tehtyä, mutta herra Uchiha kananpersetukkineen vie tällä kertaa kyllä voiton kamppailusta.
Hello! As the title says I got my new wig today. This was supposed to be my Levi wig but when I had stood in front of a mirror for a while I decided to make this my Sasuke wig (I´ll cosplay as Sasuke again probably this year, I guess I´ll be able to fix the costume before Tracon). I guess it would be possible to modify this to be a Levi wig but Mr. Uchiha with his chicken-ass hair wins this time.

Peruukissa on skintop, joka helpottaa modaamista kyllä jonkin verran. Kuitu on hyvälaatuista, ja peruukki on aika lailla sopivan mittainenkin, eli leikkelyä ei hirveästi tarvitse tehdä. Saattaa olla, että päädyn hiusten suhteen luonnollisemman näköiseen vaihtoehtoon kuin teräviin piikkeihin, sillä ainakin omaan silmääni ensiksi mainittu vaihtoehto näyttää paremmalta - ainakin kun minun modaustaidoistani on kyse.
The wig has a skintop and it makes modifying a lot easier. The fiber´s quality is good and the length of the hair is quite right so I don´t have to cut this so much. It may be that I´ll decide to make this wig more natural looking than sharp spikes because I think the first mentioned option looks better - at least when it comes to my modifying skills.

Cosplay-suunnitelmani eivät ole muuttuneet mihinkään, jos muuten sitä ajattelitte. Aion edelleen cossata Grelliä Traconissa, mutta sattuneesta syystä vain sunnuntaina, joten Sasuke olkoon lauantaicossini. Eihän herrasta Animeconissa edes otettu photoshootia (kisakuvia lukuunottamatta), joten sekin puute pitänee korjata. Kaiken lisäksi tosiaan haluan parannella tuota asua, ja tehdä siitä mukavamman käytettävän. Sain kyllä kuulla, että cossini oli hyvä, mutta oloni oli tismalleen yhtä mukava kuin valaalla pillifarkuissa, joten pieni muokkailu taitaa tosiaan olla tarpeen.
My cosplay plans haven´t changed at all if you thought that. I´ll cosplay as Grell at Tracon but only on Sunday (there are a few reasons to do that) so Sasuke will be my Saturday costume. Excluding the official photos we didn´t take any photoshoot of that costume and I want to have one. I also want to make that costume better and more comfortable to wear. I heard that my costume was good but I felt very uncomfortable (like a whale in tight jeans) so I guess it would be good to fix that costume a little.

Kouluhommat ja koeviikko pukkaavat päälle, mutta tämän kuukauden aikana yritän saada tehtyä/aloitettua seuraavat asiat:
-Itachin kengät
-Suuren osan Itachin asusta
-Lukan mekon
-Sasuke-peruukin
-Erään harmaan pipon, jonka käyttäjää en ole vielä paljastanut

I have a lot of school projects and my exam week is also coming again but I´ll try to make/begin to make this things in this month:
-Itachi´s shoes
-Pretty much of Itachi´s costume
-Luka´s dress
-Sasuke wig
-A certain grey cap (I haven´t told the character yet)

Kenties hieman kunnianhimoista, mutta pitää laittaa vauhtia päälle tai tulee kiire! ...ainakin minut tuntien. Eiköhän tuossa tehtävälistassa kaikkien esseiden yms lisäksi ole ihan tarpeeksi tekemistä. Seuraavat päivitykset ovatkin sitten joistain noista. Tässä kaikki tällä kertaa, nähdään!
I´m maybe a little ambitious but I really have to make something or I´ll have to hurry! I guess there´s enough stuff on my "must to do"-list including my essays etc. The next updates will be about those things I listed here (I don´t mean my essays :DD). That´s all for now, see ya!
