Nekocon 2025 cosplay plans

Hi everyone~!
And yes, I'm a bit late with this post but trust me, I have a good reason for that. I mean... One does not simply publish a cosplay plan post when said plans change twice an hour or so lol. I had intended to cosplay Dragonair at Nekocon but yeah, the magnets - which would have been used to attach the wings to the wig - never arrived and that meant the death of that plan. Well, can't help it.

But yeah, a plan B was very much needed - and it was actually Shiro Samurai who came up with it, thanks a lot for saving my Nekocon!
So yes, here they are, my Nekocon cosplay plans!

Tanemon from Digimon on Saturday

I mean... I have always liked Digimon too, not just Pokémon, I just hadn't thought about cosplaying from it before! So yes, on Saturday I will wear a Tanemon gijinka; I have been joking about being rather a plant than a human (considering the amount of water I drink on a daily basis) so this kind of fits too xD And, well, Tanemon is a literal ball of cuteness - who am I to say no to that? <3

Espeon from Pokémon on Sunday

Yes, another gijinka it is! On Sunday I will cosplay Espeon from Pokémon. Even though I like Umbreon and Vaporeon more I have to admit that this cutie also has a place in my heart 💜
...and, well, I get to borrow some stuff for this cosplay from Shiro Samurai so yeah, easy af lol. 

So yes, here are my Nekocon cosplay plans!
We will leave for Kuopio tomorrow or actually today oops and I sure do plan on debuting both of these during the weekend! The only "but" is that it's actually going to be very warm and everybody who knows me also knows that I practically melt when it's more than 20 Celsius degrees outside so yeah, let's hope I don't get cremated by the sun or anything lol.

Kummacon 2025 cosplay plans!

Heyo~!
It's been a while since I've done one of these posts :'D Usually my cosplay plans change more often than I change my socks (which, thank you for asking, happens on a daily basis) but now there's no time for that anymore so I can safely post this lol. Kummacon is held this upcoming weekend and I'm going to attend it as a volunteer AND panel host, woop woop~ 

The con's theme this year is Aqua so at first I would have liked to make something water-themed. A month or so before the con I suddenly realized that I would not have time or money to make some important pieces of the costume and had to scrap the plans I had back then for now.
I kind of felt like I had accidentally come to a dead end; I didn't want to wear Kiki or Alicia again since the former needs some repairs and the latter I wore to Kummacon last year so yeah, I wanted something different lol. Luckily I didn't have to brainstorm alone and soon Shiro Samurai (who will also accompany me to the con) came up with an idea I just couldn't say no to... 💙

Dragonair from Pokémon

Last year I had some sort of a witchy theme, this year's theme is apparently Pokémon gijinkas... xD 

But yes, this time I will cosplay Dragonair, one of my favorite Pokémons! ^.^ This gijinka will likely experience some heavy modifying in the future (to start with more accurate color scheme and all) but this time I will roll with what I already have.

At Kummacon I will

• work as an info desk volunteer (Sunday)
• work as a cosplay judge (Saturday)
• host a book talk (Sunday)

Cosplay plans for 2023

Hello folks!

It's been a lot of time since I wrote a post like this. Yeah, I published a part of my Genshin Impact cosplay plans but it's certain that none of them is going to happen this year. However, I am going to make at least one cosplay this year but aiming to make these ones!
I have to admit, I'm a bit nervous about making a costume again... It's been literal YEARS since I last sew anything. Yikes. Wish me luck with these.

Let's take a look!

Chizuru Yukimura from Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan

...yep. She's very likely to happen this year. I've always liked Chizuru; she's gentle and genuinely wants to help people around her - even if it endangered her. She's determined and strong-willed young woman - probably not that much of a fighter but definitely not a damsell in distress. I have already bought and gotten some stuff for her and am likely to do a make-up test during the spring. The costume is likely to be debuted during autumn. I will cosplay the anime version of her; in all honesty I don't have the time to make the details of the game version. 

Miku Hatsune, Rotten Girl Grotesque Romance

This costume will certainly be re-made; I have already bought her a new wig and the lenses are on their way. I'm once again going to make my own design but the character will be recognizible; her trademark hair, red dress etc. I'm going to have to re-make pretty much everything - last time I wasn't 100 % happy with the costume. Cosplaying her back in the days was fun though, probably mainly because the costume was so comfortable to wear and it didn't take ages to dress up lol. I hope I can make this new costume as (or even more) comfortable as the old one...

Luka Megurine, Magnet

Well, let's say that there will probably be some WIP posts coming this year about this costume so that's why I decided to add her on my 2023 cosplay plan list. I'm likely to do a long dress this time since I think it suits me better than the short one. I know I won't be able to finish this costume this year but yeah, at least gonna start making it. Probably gonna start with buying a new wig for her, the one I have now is okay but not fully what I want.

Not that many plans for this year (and two of them are re-makes lol) but hey, it's a start after a quite long hiatus.
Mostly I will make these for photoshoots - I'm likely to attend a couple of cons this year but frankly I prefer photoshoots to cosplaying at cons these days.

Next post will be a circle lens review - I have quite many of those waiting to be written. However I will also write - at least some kind of - WIP post of Miku during the spring so stay tuned if you're interested in hearing more of that project!

Genshin Impact = 90 % of my cosplay plans pt. 1

A bit over a year ago I begun to play Genshin Impact. At first I was thinking that I'd just check it out and would continue to play if I enjoyed it.

And now... Well, I'm not going to lie, it's part of my daily routines to play Genshin Impact. I fell in love pretty much with everything in the game; the story is awesome, the characters have become quite dear to me, the graphics are top quality and the music... I could listen to it for hours and not get bored. At some point the characters of this game begun to invade my cosplay plans and now 90 % of said plans are Genshin Impact characters send help - and now I'm going to list which characters I'm likely to cosplay in the future! 

Obviously not in the near future though; these costumes require quite a lot of money, time and skill - and I have none of those at the moment but... I can always dream about cosplaying these dearies. 

And no, I definitely didn't steal this blog post idea from Shiro Samurai. Definitely not.

Character: Lisa

Let's spark things up a little~

 

The Witch of Purple Rose, the lazy librarian, the perfect waifu... A dear child has many names. When I first saw Lisa I fell in love with her personality; she's quite laid-back but does her duties as a librarian - and she can be quite fierce when she gets angry. To this day she's still my favorite character in the game. I also love her design - the color scheme, the clothes, the details, everything. She's probably going to be one of the first ones I'm going to make and a sure one to happen too.

Character: Rosaria

Work hard and live each day to the fullest. That is what life in Mondstadt is all about, isn't it?

 

Rosaria... She's a very dear character to me. Being a bit of a lone wolf she wanders along her own paths, not really giving a single fuck what anyone thinks of her. She's strong and independent lady who doesn't take orders from others - except if she really has to. Rosaria has strong opinions about... Well, pretty much everything and doesn't really hang out with anyone. I actually pulled her from a wish banner before I met her in the game for the first time so at first I fell in love with her design - and when I actually got to know her personality too I realized that I like this character a lot. She's also a sure one to happen at some point.

Character: Amber

 

Outrider Amber reporting for duty! Just say the word if you ever need my help!

 

To be honest, this one surprised me, myself and I too. I don't usually like characters like Amber; she's "The little Miss Sunshine", always kind and polite and usually over-enthusiastic about her work and life overall. I have to say that at first I didn't like her that much and found her a bit annoying - she was way too positive about everything if you asked me. But, at some point, I noticed that I didn't hate her that much anymore and that she's actually quite nice character; she's helpful and kind and she also has the talent to see the silver lining on a storm cloud. She's a sweet one. I also love her design, especially the new outfit (seen in the picture above) and it's likely the one I'm going to make.

Character: Lumine (the female Traveler)

There´s still a long road ahead.

 

In the beginning of the game the player gets to choose whether they want a male or a female avatar. Usually I take the male one but I found myself liking the design of the female avatar, Lumine, more so I chose her - and I wasn't disappointed in my choice. Her design is simply amazing; it looks very simple (or at least when compared to other Genshin Impact characters) but actually it's filled with small details. I'm not usually a fan of pure white color either but it fits this character pretty well! I can't say anything about her personality in this context; you see, the player kind of builds the Traveler's personality so it really depends of the player what kind of a character the Traveler becomes. I went with the sarcastic one.
Lumine is pretty likely to happen - probably even among the first ones yet definitely not the first. 

Character: Beidou

I chose you as my crewmate, as my comrade on the sea. It gives me great pride to be able to say that.

 

Beidou - this goodhearted and straightforward pirate queen stole my heart when I got to know her personality. To be honest, at first I wasn't too fond of her design; in my eyes red and purple never really were a good combination but after a while I realized that those colors reflect Beidou's personality; if there was such a thing as "responsible yet passionate wild child" I would definitely use it to describe her. She's also very smart and opinionated character - just the type I like. She's one of the characters that is pretty likely to happen.

Character: Ningguang

There's no style in resorting to violence. It's simply the worst of all the bad decisions you could make.

 

Ningguang... I'm not going to lie. At first I outright hated her with passion; she seemed to be the worst kind of snob out there. It took me quite a while to learn to appreciate her personality and realize that she hadn't gotten everything on a golden tray - she has had to work hard for her success, sometimes even without proper rest. When I finally convinced myself to give her a second chance I noticed that her personality is actually great; she is hard-working and sophisticated yet ready to defend her people when it's required from her.
I still dislike her regular outfit but I love this Orchid's Evening Gown; in my eyes blue suits her much better than gold and still symbolizes her social status - after all, in the past blue was the color meant for royals and the rich. Mainly because it was expensive af but... Anyway. 

So, here's part one of the characters I'm going to cosplay in the future - and yes, this is the first part. I'll also write a second part in the near future since I realized that if I had put all the characters I want to cosplay in one post it would've become a kilometer long list so... Yeah. 

Oh, and if you wonder - those cursive parts are character voice-overs.

Female cosplays I'm likely to make in the future ( + some costumes I will re-make)!

Hello~!

I've been infected with the cosplay hype once again and this time decided to post a list of female characters I'm likely to cosplay in the future. As many of you know I've cosplayed mostly men because of some gender identity issues. Now I've managed to make myself clear who I am and now there's a place for female characters on my cosplay list too~!
(And, well, one of the simplest reasons is that I rarely find a female character I actually like so much that I'd like to cosplay her.)

Belle French from Once Upon a Time

The first character on this list is Belle French/Gold from Once Upon a Time. My friend told me that she had begun to watch this series and suggested that I'd watch it too. At first I was quite skeptic - would I actually like a TV series based on childhood bedtime stories?
...well, I was skeptic for nothing. I fell in love with OUAT and especially with Belle who is also one of my favourite Disney princesses ever. A girl who likes books, is smart (smarter than me but anyway) and ambitious - who wouldn't like a character like that? In OUAT her character is a bit more naive but I let it pass, she's still wonderful. And my friend might have said that she'd like to cosplay Rumplestiltskin so... Yeah. :D

Rachel Amber from Life is Strange: Before the Storm

I've played over 50 % of LiS: Before the Storm now and I've begun to like Rachel even more. I've spoken about her earlier so I don't know if there's nothing more to say about her, just wanted to say that she's still on my cosplay list.

Zelena from Once Upon a Time

Khm. Yeah. The Wizard of Oz was one of my favourite stories when I was a child yet I could never bring myself actually like the main character, Dorothy Gale. Yes, she's totally a hero of the story but I've always liked the villains more and this was no exception.

Let me present you the wicked witch of the West: Zelena. She was one of my favourite characters the instant I saw her on my TV screen - who wouldn't like a jealous wicked witch who still has some values and right priorities? As you can see it may take me some time to make this costume - the greatest reason being the money.

Kanata Shinonome from AKB0048

Kanata has been on my cosplay list for ages but I haven't managed to bring myself to make her costume and I doubt that I'll make it in a long time. But yes, I'm definitely making this yellow costume of hers! Kanata's personality is kinda likable - yet she can be very difficult person if she wants to/the situation requires it.
I'm not likely to make any other of her costumes since, well, I don't like their designs that much. Too cute for me. :'D

Chikane Himemiya from Kannazuki no Miko

Yes, she's still hanging there. I just need to figure out some things with this costume. And probably re-make the parts I've already made but we'll see about that. She's still a dear character to me and I'll definitely cosplay her in the future.
When I started making her back in 201...5 (I guess) I made some parts horribly wrong. They still looked good on me but trust me, if I even try to wear it the way it is now it'll be quite painful. So yeah, this will take some time. Still.

Joyce Price from Life is Strange

Life is Strange is kind of familiar to pretty much everyone nowadays - or at least its name is. Many cosplayers have cosplayed the main characters - Chloe Price, Max Caulfield, Rachel Amber - but there's one character who deserves a lot more love than she's getting right now. And that character is Joyce Price, Chloe's mother.
I love her personality so much - even though she appears to be very stern she has a heart of gold. She's always caring about Chloe and always thinks what would be best for her even though she sometimes fails - but hey, everybody fails at life sometimes. Anyway I just love her personality and that's why she found her way on my cosplay list. Her diner uniform might not be the most pretty costume but at least it'll be quite easy to make and comfortable to wear (I'll be skipping the high heels because I cause dangerous situations whenever I try to wear those devils).
...the real challenge with this character is how I'll make myself look like a middle-aged woman. Then again, when I was 14 some people thought I was 20 and when I was 19 some people thought I was 28. So... Maybe I can make myself pass as a middle-aged mother character.

Anne von Blyssen from Star Stable Online

Yeah, I know. I just cursed Alex's riding pants to Hell and back and with this costume I'm going to enter that Hell once again.
But yes, this is Anne von Blyssen's new design. I must admit that at first I was... Well, let's just say, I wasn't very pleased with it but when they actually brought Anne into SSO I was surprised how good her new design looks in the game itself. Plus someone might have asked me to make this costume - and I totally will since I like challenges! This one will be challenging, both the costume and the make-up; I still haven't figured out how to make those Pandoric scars. Well, I have time to figure it out. I have no idea when I'll make Anne but probably quite soon - I think I might have just the right fabric for her riding pants already.

Elizabeth Sunbeam from Star Stable Online

Yes, I have SSO hype going on right now, don't judge me :'D
I've always liked Elizabeth's personality and when it was revealed that she was "The Sun of Pandoria" in the last sisterhood I fell in love with her character even more. The costume itself looks simple. LOOKS. I know I'm going to lose the last of my sanity with this but... Well, it's going to be worth it. :'D

Alex Cloudmill's ancestress from Starshine Legacy: The Secret of Pine Hill Mansion

You see, there aren't many pictures of this costume going around and at first I thought that I wouldn't even publish this plan just yet. Then I got a permission to take screenshot and well, here we are :D But yes, Alex's ancestress has been on my cosplay list for the longest of times and I'm definitely making this in the future! Also makes me very determined to lose weight.

There are also some 'maybe' characters so I won't add them on my list just yet. Let's see what I decide to do.

Ayame Sohma from Fruits Basket

Yup, my "trademark cosplay".
I threw the original one away since it was about to break in pieces and was beyond repairable. It actually kind of stung to throw that costume away but hey, that only means that I can make it again even better!
I'm probably going to re-make the blue coat version since I still can't bring myself to like the red coat version. Aaaand I should order a new wig for him. The old one... Let's just say I should throw it into the rubbish bin too.  But yes, I'm definitely going to re-make this costume!

Alex Cloudmill from Starshine Legacy

Yeah, I know, I know. I just made her new design version but I still feel the urge to make her Starshine Legacy version too. Reason one: I was never too happy with the first version of my cosplay. Reason two: her new design version is comfortable to wear but it's probably only for winter conventions since it's very warm costume too.
I'll re-make the pants and the shirts. I still have that beanie (and I'm still proud of it!) and I managed to find the shoes I made for her back in the days. Still kind of happy with them too.

Avalon from Star Stable Online

This costume isn't very old yet I still have the urge to re-make it already. The main reason is that I was never happy with the materials I used for his costume because I just KNOW that it could look so much better!
This time I'll add the last details too since I've finally managed to figure out what they're supposed to be - or at least I think so. The details on his sleeves are still causing me some headache but I think that they're supposed to represent Aideen's harp. So yeah, I'm going to bring the druid boy back at some point probably when I have money since wool isn't actually the cheapest material you know.

Luka Megurine, version Magnet

I threw this costume away years ago (or at least seems like it since I haven't seen it in ages). Back in the days I actually managed to make this costume quite well - especially considering that it was my first cosplay I made without any help or advice from anyone.
Even if I still had this costume I think that I'd re-make it though. There were minor mistakes in the costume so... Yeah. I guess I'll be even happier with it this time! I'm thinking about making this version of Luka next year. Any other Magnet cosplayers out there? Join me!

I'm also going to repair some parts of my Itachi Uchiha cosplay. It's mostly in good shape which makes me happy since that's one of the costumes I've wore a lot in the past.

A couple of cosplay plans for 2019!

So, yeah, hello again! I know I've been silent for a while but seriously, there hasn't been anything to write about ^^" Or, well, I'm still writing my summary of Eura's Manga Day (which took place in the end of September so it's been a while) and I attended Kitsunecon as a cosplay contest judge but I'm going to tell more about that in my 2018 wrap-up post!

Yukicon

Those who follow me on Instagram (or have read Yukicon's post in which some con programs are revealed) already know that I and Merezone are going to host a lecture about Star Stable Online - and that means dressing up as a Soul Rider to me! My plan for Yukicon is...

...Alex Cloudmill, newly designed!

I have to admit - at first I was very, VERY much against all the changes they decided to do to the characters but Alex's design doesn't bother me that much anymore instead of that, Anne's design is bugging me to Hell and back and that's why she found her way on my cosplay list again~! I've already ordered a wig for this one, everything else will have to wait. This will most likely be a closet cosplay - at least mostly.

At least for photoshoots

This girlie will probably show up next year at least in photoshoots - I'm not sure how many cons I'm going to attend since nowadays I don't enjoy attending cons that much, it feels like I've seen it all. But maybe you'll see her in a convention too, never say never!

Anyway, I bought Life is Strange: Before the Storm a few days ago. I had watched a few gameplay videos of it and already back then I was in love with this character and now my love for her has just grown and grown <3 And she, of course is...

I'm quite sure some of you expected me to say Chloe Price but nah, not my cup of tea even though she is a great character too.

Like I said, I'm not sure if I'll debut her in any con - we will see. This is probably going to be a closet cosplay too - I don't seriously have the time or money to look for the right fabrics since I can get these products cheaper by buying them from Tokmanni's sale :')

But yes, here are at least a couple of new cosplay plans~! I'm not sure if I'll debut Keisuke Sannan next year - he's been on my cosplay list for a while but I'm not sure if the costume is way beyond my skills...

Kitsunecon 2018 cosplay plans!

Hello!

First, it'll take me some time to publish the summary of Eura's Manga Day. I haven't gotten the pics from my photographer just yet but well, I'll write the summary asap! And I should publish rest of Avalon's photoshoot pics too - from last autumn. Oops.

But yes!
On 13th of October Kitsunecon will be held in Kaarina, Finland. To be more specific, its location is the town's library. And I'll be there!

And my cosplay for the day will be...

Itachi Uchiha from Naruto.

Yes, I'm going to cosplay him again~! I haven't worn Itachi to cons in ages and I'm looking forward to cosplay him oh so very much! :')

I'll be one of the cosplay contest judges so I have no idea how much time I'll have for exploring the con etc., but if you happen to see me there, come and say hi!

Gijinkas I'm likely to make in the future!

I have a shitload of cosplay plans - and these gijinkas are a part of them. I've begun to order stuff for some of these already but I sincerely have no idea when I will debut these. Hopefully in the near future, even though Sannan-san and Yang Jinghua are my priorities right now.

But let's see what this list contains~!

Darkrai from Pokémon: The Rise of Darkrai

Yes, I've been planning to re-make this one ever since I made my first gijinka of this character. I was never pleased with it; I made it under a huge stress and, unfortunately, one can clearly see that I wasn't doing my best.
And back then I wasn't even sure what kind of a gijinka I actually wanted to make...
But yes, this is 100 % sure to happen in the future. I've loved Darkrai as a character ever since I saw the movie and I really want to cosplay this character again.

Yveltal from Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction

I watched this Pokémon movie not so long ago and when I saw Yveltal I got the "I must make a gijinka of this Pokémon!!" feeling - and yes, this will definitely happen! It might not be my priority number one but still.
I haven't planned the whole costume just yet but I think that I pretty much know what kind of a gijinka I want to make.

Qurupeco from Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate

NOOT NOOT MOTHERFUCKERS.
I pretty much lost my mind when I tried to hunt this one - really, it's not even that hard yet I still managed to spend way too many hours on trying to kill Qurupeco. Such hunter skills, much wow. :I

But yeah, when I got over my hate towards this monster I actually took a closer look at it - and realized that I liked its colors a lot. I've always loved and respected the element called fire too and after a few discussions with my hunter friends I decided to make a Qurupeco gijinka. I've already ordered stuff for this one.
Waiting for those feathers to arrive. :DD
This one will be one of my most expensive costumes by far, I know it already... Bye money, didn't need you anyway.

Kyuubi from Naruto

Because why not?
Naruto was one of the first series I got into when I stepped into the cosplay community. This demon fox has had a special place in my heart ever since. I mean, who wouldn't love an intelligent devil in disguise?

Kyuubi is extremely intelligent and independent character... And quite destructive, too. For some reason these kind of characters attract my attention quite easily.

I've already ordered some fabric for this one too and I've begun to think about the ways to make the tails. I have no idea when I will debut this one though but I hope that I'll manage to do it during 2018 - I have a feeling that making this during this year is highly impossible.

Alduin from Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

"Zu'u Alduin, the first born of Akatosh!"

This villain dragon is pure gold. Even though he isn't that much of a challenge to kill (if you time the kill right) and he is one of the stereotype villains, there's still something special about him... And not just the fact that he's a massive dragon.
I'm still going to make Cicero someday but right now I have a feeling that I'll probably make Alduin first.

And hey, look at that design - it's going to offer me so much new challenges! <3

(By the way, I still can't get over the fact that Alduin's dragon brother Paarthurnax and Super Mario have the same voice actor...)

Euran Mangapäivä - ensimmäistä kertaa sitten vuoden 2013!

Vuonna 2013 Eurassa järjestettiin ensimmäinen Mangapäivä (tuolloin kirjoitusmuodossa Euran manga-päivä). Valitettavasti tapahtumasta ei tullut vuosittaista, ja pitkälti se on euralaisten sekä lähikuntalaisten mielistä jo tainnut vaipua unholaan.
Tuolloin tapahtuma järjestettiin Euran pääkirjastolla.

Sattumoisin samainen kirjasto on nykyinen työkokeilupaikkani - ja kun minulta kysyttiin, olisiko minulla joitain hieman suurempia visioita suunniteltuna, vastaus oli aika lailla selvä...

• Voi osallistua niin aasialaisella kuin länsimaalaisellakin piirretty-, peli- yms. hahmolla. Oma design ei sallittu (tätä varten on design-piirustuskilpailu). Ilmoittautumisen yhteydessä kerro hahmon nimi, lähdeteos ja oma nimesi/nimimerkkisi.
• Puvun ei tarvitse olla itsetehty, kekseliäisyys kunniaan!
• ÄLÄ OTA ITSEÄSI ISOMPIA TAI (TURHAN) REALISTISIA PROPPEJA (esim. asereplicat ja pesäpallomailat tulee jättää kotiin)!! Propilla tarkoitetaan siis asuun kuuluvia "lisukkeita", useimmiten aseet, taikasauvat yms.
• Kisa on yksilökisa, eli parin kanssa valitettavasti ei voi tällä kertaa astella lavalle. Omalla vuorollaan voi halutessaan kertoa parilla lauseella siitä, miksi halusi pukeutua juuri valitsemakseen hahmoksi, sekä tehdään pari hahmouskollista poseerausta.
• Kyseessä on koko perheen tapahtuma; asu on vapaa, mutta pakollinen - eikä ole myöskään suotavaa tulla paikalle puolialasti.
• Aikavälillä 10-11.30 pidetään kisaajien valokuvaus. Kisaajan tulee ilmoittaa itsensä läsnäolleeksi paikalla olevalle tuomarille (eli minulle) tapahtumaan saapuessaan, ja tällöin hän saa myös vuoronumeronsa. Cosplay-kisassa sarjat eivät päde, vaan yhteensä 10 osallistujaa otetaan mukaan (alaikäraja on kuitenkin 7 vuotta). Huom! Kisaajan tulee ilmoittautua läsnäolevaksi VIIM. 11.20 tuomarille, jotta valokuvat ennätetään ottaa ennen luennon alkamista!
• Palkintojenjako tapahtuu välittömästi kisan jälkeen, ei siis kannata poistua paikalta oman lavavuoron loputtua!

Piirustuskisan ohjeet/säännöt & yleinen informaatio

• Tässä kisassa kisataan mainoksessa mainituissa sarjoissa - kerrothan/pyydäthän huoltajaasi kertomaan ikäsi ilmoittautumisen yhteydessä! Kisaan ilmoittaudutaan pajan pitäjälle, ei siis sähköpostilla. Huom! Sarjan toteutumiseen vaaditaan väh. 4 osallistujaa. Jos tämä ei toteudu, sarjoja liitetään toisiinsa tilanteen mukaan. Kisaajan ikä ja taso huomioidaan tuomaroinnissa.
• Piirustukset laitetaan näytteille, paitsi jos erikseen kielletään - kerrothan siis, saako teostasi laittaa näytille.
• OMA NIMI PAPERIIN!
• Teema: piirrä unelmiesi naamiaisasu (tai cosplay-/nuuttipukki-/Halloween-asu, millä nimellä sitä ikinä tahdotkaan kutsua)! Teokset tulee piirtää A4-kokoiselle paperille.
• Kisaan voi osallistua vain yhdellä teoksella/henkilö - muuten saa kyllä piirtää!
• Mielikuvitus liikkeelle!

En itse tuomaroi piirustuskisaa, vaan olen pyytänyt ystäväni Sandra Lehtosen avuksi siihen hommaan.

Itse hoidan cosplay-tuomaroinnin, ja kriteerini ovat seuraavanlaiset:  hahmon tunnistettavuus, eläytyminen sekä kekseliäisyys asun toteutuksessa. Referenssikuvat hahmoista etsin itse. Hoidan myös kisaajien valokuvaamisen - jos olet ala-asteikäinen, tarvitsen huoltajasi suostumuksen siihen, että kuvia saa laittaa esimerkiksi Euran pääkirjaston sivuille. 

Ilmoittautuminen on auki 20.4 asti, jos kisaajamäärät eivät täyty ennen sitä. Sikäli mikäli kisaajamäärät menevät aikaisemmin täyteen, ilmoitetaan siitä niin kirjaston some-kanavilla kuin omillanikin!

Eli Ayamea ajattelin cossata - jälleen kerran. Nuo piilolinssit menevät vielä tuon kerran, ja sen jälkeen onkin aika sanoa niille hyvästit. Ayamen cossaaminen jääkin siis hetkeksi varmaan tauolle, sillä itsessään asu siirtyy myös Mangapäivän jälkeen muokkaus-/korjauspöydälle. Ehkä jo aikakin, onhan tuo ollut varsin aktiivisessa käytössä vuodesta 2013...

Cosplay ei Mangapäivänä muutenkaan ole missään nimessä kiellettyä - löytyyhän Eurasta noita photoshoot-ympäristöjäkin jonkin verran (vaikka en niitä itse olekaan kovin paljon hyödyntänyt)! (:

Long story short; I'll organize the next "Manga Day of Eura" event on 22nd of April. In this blog post there are the rules of the cosplay contest & drawing contest and some information about this event in general. I'll also be the judge of the cosplay competition & I'll also be the photographer of this event. 
The Manga Day will be held at the library of Eura - my current working place no, I'm not a librarian. 
And I will cosplay Ayame Sohma. Does this surprise anyone anymore?
