Päällystysprojekti ei vienyt kauan aikaa, itse ompeleminen ei tuntiakaan (olisi vienyt vielä vähemmän, jos minulla olisi ollut enemmän nuppineuloja). Sen sijaan kankaan kanssa sain taistella vähän aikaa (kuten Facebookissa kanssani jutelleet varmaankin huomasivat), sillä oikeankokoisten kangaskappaleiden tekeminen otti oman aikansa. Lopulta kiinnitin liian pienen kappaleen kankaaseen, levensin sitä noin sentillä ja pidensin 2-3 sentillä.
Hello! I´ll update about a little thing called covering the hairband. Does it have something to do with cosplay? Yes. To which costume does it belong? ...you won´t get to know that yet but you can always guess! But yeah, I visited Law last Saturday and she had a yellow fabric she didn´t need anymore. I got that fabric because I noticed it was just the right shade of yellow and because I already had just right hairband I decided to cover it.
Covering didn´t take much time and sewing itself didn´t take even an hour (it wouldn´t have lasted as long as it did if I had more pins). Instead I had to "fight" with the fabric (I guess those who I talked on Facebook at the same time with me noticed it) because making fabric pieces in the right size took its own time. In the end I pinned too small piece to the fabric and just drew a bigger piece around it (in length 2-3 centimetres per head and a centimetre in width).

Ensimmäisessä kuvassa oikealla voi muuten nähdä kyseisen pannan. Alkujaan se oli hyvin tummanruskea. Ja ei, minulle ei ole Applen näyttöä.
In the first picture you can see the hairband on the right, by the way. Originally it was very dark brown. And no, I don´t have Apple´s screen.
Kyseinen hahmohan tulee siis kesälle 2015, mutta arvauksia toki saa esittää, jos haluaa! Ja ne jotka tietävät, ihan hiljaa sitten vain ;) Peruukkeja on muuten tilailtu aika ahkerasti jo vuodelle 2014, ja alkaa pikkuhiljaa taas ompeluinnostus nousta. Lomalla voisin tehdä kierroksen kangaskaupassa, ja aloittaa sitten sen Akatsuki-takin tekemisen.
En muuten olekaan puhunut vielä iltabilecossistani, muuten kuin vain maininnalla siitä, että sellaistakin olen värkkäämässä. No, sen saatte tietää sitten, kun saan peruukin!
The character who wears a hairband like that will be seen in summer 2015 but you can always guess who the character is if you want! And those who know, stay quiet now ;) By the way, the next year´s (2014) wigs are almost all ordered and I´m getting my sewing inspiration back. When the holiday begins I could visit a fabric store and then begin to make that Akatsuki cloak.
I guess I haven´t spoken about my evening party costume (well, I´ve told that I´ll be making a costume like that). Well, you´ll get to know that when I´ll get the wig!
Yukiconiinhan minä en siis ole tulossa, en olisi ehtinyt ostaa lippuja, eikä toisaalta oikein ollut innostusta edes lähteä. En kuitenkaan olisi saanut Itachia valmiiksi siihen mennessä, joten eipä erikoisemmin haittaa. Te jotka saitte lipun ja olette menossa, pitäkää hauskaa!
I´m not coming to Yukicon because I wouldn´t have made buying the tickets in time and I really didn´t have an inspiration to go. My Itachi cosplay wouldn´t be ready in time so not going doesn´t bother me. You who got the ticket and are going, have fun there!
