Hello! Yeah, I returned to my homecountry (Finland) at Monday but I´ve been too tired to write until now. You can find information in Finnish from the blog I gave a link to and most of the pictures will go there too. In English I can tell a few things here:
-we were there from Thursday to Monday and at the first evening we didn´t do much, just made ourselves comfortable at the hotel and stuff like that
-at Friday we visited Versailles (I really loved that place and especially the garden of the palace!)
-we had no time to visit Louvre because there were way too much persons and being in the queue would have taken all day (and I also get panic attacks easily when there are too much people, damn it)
-I actually almost had a panic attack because of the plane but now I´m not as afraid of them as I used to be
-food was really good (really had to say this)
-if you want to know more about the trip, ask me, I can tell about it but not telling much here now because this is a cosplay blog.. But if you have questions then ask them and I can also translate texts from the other blog if you want to!
I can say we really had nice time there and I would go anytime to Paris again! This update will concentrate on Saturday because it was the day we had much free time and I was searching and buying stuff with Mai!
Ensimmäiseksi voisin kirjoittaa hieman siitä Black Sugarista.
At first I would like to say a few words about Black Sugar.
Osa peruukeista oli todella laadukkaita, ja jotkin asutkin vaikuttivat todella hyviltä. Sitten oli esimerkiksi näkemämme Death the Kid-peruukki... Jos nyt täysin rehellisiä ollaan, meinasin jo siinä kohtaa painella ulos ovesta täyttä päätä, sillä sen laatu oli tasan yhtä laadukasta kuin Suomi-peruukitkin! Kaiken lisäksi etsimääni punaista peruukkia ei ollut enää edes varastossa, ja se riitti siihen, että poistuimme Main kanssa kyseisestä kaupasta. Kirjaimellisesti vieressä oli cosplayhin erikoistunut kauppa (Black Sugarissa on muutakin), ja sieltä mukaani lähti melko pitkällisen pohdinnan jälkeen Grell-peruukki (jonka laatu on muuten aivan upea, tähänastisista peruukeistani paras!). En sano, etteikö Black Sugaria kannattaisi tsekata, mutta itse en siitä tällä kertaa hyötynyt. Grell-peruukin hinta oli 35 e, mutta maksoin sen mielelläni. Peruukit näyttivät muutenkin laadukkailta, ja liiketilat olivat yli puolet avarammat. En kuitenkaan löydä liikettä googlaamalla, enkä muista liikkeen nimeä alkuunkaan, pahoitteluni!
Some of the wigs had really good quality and some costumes seemed really good too! Then there was that Death the Kid wig we saw... To say honestly I almost walked out of the shop when I saw it because the quality was very awful! On the top of everything there was no that red wig I was looking for and it was enough for me and Mai - we exited from the shop. Literally next to us there was a cosplay shop (there is much more at Black Sugar than just cosplay things) and after a long thinking I bought wig to Grell (it´s quality is awesome and it´s definitely the best wig I´ve bought this far!). I´m not saying that you shouldn´t go to Black Sugar at all but for me there was nothing. The Grell wig costed 35 euros but I payed it happily. In general the wigs seemed to have really good quality and there was enough space in the shop. I can´t find that shop by using Google and I can´t remember the name of the shop at all, I´m really sorry about that!
Pistäydyimme Main pyynnöstä myös rue Danten Hayaku Shopissa, ja pidin paikasta todella paljon! Myyjä oli todella ystävällinen, ja valinnanvaraa oli runsaasti niin figuureissa kuin manga-pokkareissakin (jotka luonnollisesti olivat ranskaksi, olivat muuten hyvin käännettyjä). Hintakaan ei huimannut päätä, vaan pokkarit taisivat olla jopa halvempia kuin Suomessa. Kun menen Pariisiin uudestaan, ja jos kyseinen liike on silloin vielä pystyssä, taidanpa poiketa siellä uudestaankin... Kävimme myös rue Kellerilla eräässä manga-liikkeessä, mutta itseltäni hieman lopahti kiinnostus siinä kohtaa, kun huomasin figuurit feikeiksi. Kyllä sieltäkin nyt pokkarin verran tarttui mangaa mukaan.
Mai asked me if we could also visit at Hayaku Shop (at rue Dante) and I really liked that place! The seller was very friendly and when it came to the figures and manga books (naturally in French, the translation was very good) you really had to think how to choose among them because there was so much stuff! The price wasn´t extremely high and I have a feeling that the manga books were cheaper than at Finland. When I´ll visit Paris again I will visit that shop again too (if it´s business still runs). We also visited a certain manga shop at rue Keller but when I noticed that the figures were fake I didn´t have much interest in that shop. Well, I bought one book of manga from there.

The wig is already a bit modified, all I have to do is to cut it a little and then it´s done. One thing less to worry about and a few things waiting. I should order wigs to Itachi, Cornelia and Souichi and his (S) wig is definitely the most problematic. Well, I guess it will be okay! I think I could upload a few pictures from Paris when I do the next update because right now I really have no energy to "fight" with Blogger.
Uskoisin piakkoin poikkeavani taas Tampereella, ja tällä kertaa lähden etsimään pääsääntöisesti kenkiä cosseihin. Toki myös kankaita voisi hieman tsekkailla, mutta koska olen kaikkein hitain kenkien kanssa, niiden aloittaminen jo tässä vaiheessa voisi olla todella suotavaa, vaikka kyse olisikin sitten Grellistä tai mahdollisesti sitä seuraavan vuoden cosseista.
I guess I´ll visit Tampere soon again and this time I´ll search for shoes that I can use to my costumes. Of course I could check fabrics too but because I´m pretty slow when making the shoes I should start with them - even if I speak of Grell or perhaps the costumes after him.
Tässäpä kaikki nyt taas tällä kertaa! Toivon saavani seuraaviin postauksiin hieman enemmän kuvia ja asiaa, mutta eiköhän niitä sitten tule, kun saan taas tarvittavia materiaaleja käsiini! Aloitan myös sen Grellin Death Scythen piakkoin, joten eiköhän tekemistä taas riitä. Piakkoin minulle on kuitenkin tulossa taas koeviikko, joten jos päivityksissä kestää, syyttäkää sitä - ajattelin nimittäin jopa keskittyä tällä kertaa hieman paremmin siihen lukemiseen, cossaamista voi ajatella milloin vain muutenkin.
It´s all for now folks! I hope I´ll get more pictures and more to tell to the next updates but there´ll be texts when I´ll get the materials I need. I´ll start Grell´s Death Scythe soon too so I guess there will be a lot to do. Soon I´ll also have an exam week so if there´s a long time between the updates, blame the exams - this time I could really concentrate on studying, I can think of cosplay whenever I want to but it´s not good to think about it while studying to the exams.
