Hei vain! Vuoden 2014 puolelle siis päästiin, mutta en ala tehdä tästä nyt mitään katsausta cosplay-vuoteen 2013, sillä siitä ei enää niin paljon kerrottavaa ole. Sen sijaan voisin hieman selittää siitä, mitä eilen/tänään tuli tehtyä. Sain nimittäin hieman tehtyä Lukaa ja Grelliä eteenpäin. Tosin, todellakin vain hieman... Mutta siis, Lukaan sain jo kankaat, ja Corneliaan osan kankaista, eli suhteellisen hyvällä mallilla kuitenkin mennään. Eri asia onkin, milloin pääsen kunnolla asuihin käsiksi... Mutta, aloitetaan pienemmästä projektista, eli Grellin rusetista (tai mikä se nyt ikinä onkaan).
Hello! It´s 2014 now but I won´t do an update about my cosplay year 2013 because there isn´t much to tell anymore. Instead I could write about what I did yesterday/today. I made something little to Luka and Grell. Yeah, I really didn´t do much... But well, I have all fabrics to Luka and some fabrics to Cornelia so I have much time to do them though it´s a different thing when I can start sewing those costumes... But let´s start with the smaller project: Grell´s bowtie (or whatever it is).

Se ei ole noin oranssia./It´s not that orange.

Viihdytin itseäni myös tällä./I also entertained myself with this.

 

Nuo kuvat eivät ole itse asiassa edes eiliseltä, mutta parin päivän sisällä kuitenkin. Jos kellosta katsotaan, eilen Ciel (NoisyPyromaniac) tuli seurakseni, ja sillä aikaa kun hän suunnitteli juttuja omaan cossiinsa, tein Grellin rusettia. Ciel tosin auttoi minua teipin kanssa.
Those pictures aren´t actually from yesterday but I´ve taken them during a couple of days. If the clock is checked it was yesterday when Ciel (NoisyPyromaniac) came to visit me and when she planned some things to her own costume I made Grell´s bowtie. Ciel helped me with the tape though.

Tähän teippiä siis tarvittiin: päätin maalata ne punaiset raidat./This is why the tape was needed: I decided to paint those red stripes.

Kumpikaan ei ilmeisesti preferoi niitä keltaisia karkkeja.../I guess neither of us prefers those yellow candies...

Viihdykkeenämme tässä kohtaa toimi Dr. Phil.

Sitten siihen Lukaan, ja hänen valkoiseen... Mikä tuo on? Vyö? Obi? No, kuitenkin, tiedätte mistä puhun. Meinasin saada sydänkohtauksen leikatessani kankaan ensimmäisen kerran, ja sanottakoon näin, että se meinasi mennä vielä vähän enemmän kuin hieman pieleen. Onneksi mitoittamani kappale oli alkujaan liian pitkä, ja sain sitten sen virheen korjattua.
Let´s move to Luka now and to her white... What is that? Belt? Obi? Well, I guess you know what I mean. I almost got a heart attack when I cut that fabric for the first time and let´s just say that I almost screwed it up totally. Thank goodness that piece of fabric was originally too long and it wasn´t hard to fix that thing.

Mukavia pieniä projekteja tähän illan ratoksi! Pohdin myös sitä, pitäisikö Grellin peruukki stailata, mutta toisaalta, minulla ei ole mikään kiire, joten aivan hyvin ehdin tehdä sen hieman myöhemminkin. Tässäpä kaikki siis tältä erää, enköhän pian pääse itse asuihin käsiksi! ...toivottavasti, sillä Tampere Kuplii on alle kolmen kuukauden päässä, ja mitä olen tehnyt Itachiin? Hakenut kankaat. Onneksi en mennyt sinne Yukiconiin, alkaisi pikkuhiljaa aika loppua kesken :D
Nice little projects to do during the evening! I also thought that I should style Grell´s wig but on the other hand I don´t have to hurry with it so I can do it later. It´s all for now folks, I hope I can start making the costumes themselves soon! ...I really hope it because there isn´t even three months to Tampere Kuplii and what I´ve done for my Itachi cosplay? I´ve bought fabrics to it. Thank goodness I´m not going to Yukicon because if I went there I guess I would be running out of time now :D
