Hieman erilaista panikointia!/A little bit different panicking!

Huomenna se sitten olisi edessä, lähtö Ranskaan. Herätys on klo 04.00, ja kohti Helsinkiä lähdetään klo 06.30. Turha kai edes sanoa, että tässä on hieman erilaista panikointia ilmassa kuin ennen coneja... Olen halunnut Pariisiin siitä lähtien, kun olin neljä, ja todellakin haluan reissun menevän hyvin. Pariisi on aina ollut mielestäni hyvin kaunis ja upea kaupunki, ja sinne pääseminen on yhden unelman täyttymys. Pitäisi varmaan kohta alkaa pakata, ja alkaa psyykkaamaan itseäni - kärsin nimittäin todella pahasta lentopelosta. Sen lisäksi tämä on vasta toinen kertani ulkomailla (edeltävän kerran kävin Kööpenhaminassa joitakin vuosia sitten).
Tomorrow it´s time to leave Finland for a week and start a trip to France. I have to wake up at 4 a.m and we´ll be heading to Helsinki at 06.30 a.m. I guess there is no need to say that this panicking is a little bit different than before the cons... I´ve wanted to visit Paris since I was four years old and I really don´t want this trip to be a disappointment. I´ve always thought that Paris is very beautiful and amazing town and going there makes one dream come true. I guess I should start packing soon and I also need to get rid of the fear - I´m very, very afraid of planes and flying. This is my second trip to a foreign country (last time I visited Copenhagen a few years ago).

Itse asiassa onnistuin löytämään paikan, josta saattaa olla hyötyä jopa cosplaylle - nimittäin rue Kellerin ja siellä olevan kaupan, Black Sugarin. Löysin sen täysin randomisti googlaillessani sitä, mitä Pariisista mahtaisi löytyä mangaan ja animeen liittyen, ja voin jo nyt sanoa, että ainakin yksi peruukki lähtee mukaani aivan takuuvarmasti! Hinnat ovat tietysti korkeammat kuin eBayssa, mutta jos tuote vastaa kaupan sivuilla ollutta kuvausta, maksan sen hinnan melko mielelläni. Grell-peruukki ainakin lähtee mukaan, vaikka hinta onkin sen 30 euroa. Ei se niin paha ole.
I actually found a shop where I can find cosplay stuff - Black Sugar at rue Keller. I found it randomly when I searched where I could find something about anime and manga at Paris. I know that one wig will come with me to Finland for sure! Well, those wigs cost more than in eBay but if the product really is like it should be I can pay for it then. I´ll buy a wig to Grell despite it costs 30 euros, it´s not that bad.

Eipä tässä kai sitten mitään muuta tällä kertaa. Anteeksi kuvaton postaus nyt, mutta eiköhän niitä kuvia sitten reissun jälkeen tule! Ja kenties vihdoin ja viimein jotain enemmän cossaamiseen liittyvää... Peruukin modausta ainakin. Loppuun voisin linkkailla muutamia biisejä, joita kuuntelen tässä sivussa tai jotka ovat soineet päässäni hetken aikaa.
I guess there´s nothing more to write about right now. I´m sorry here are no pictures now but there will be after the trip! And hopefully here will be something more about cosplay at last... Hei vain! Otsikko siis kertoo sen, ettei välttämättä cosplayhin tule tällä kertaa ihan hirvittävästi liittymään, ja syykin on selvä... En ole saanut taaskaan melkein mitään aikaiseksi. Inspiraationi piilottelee jossain, mutta eiköhän tämä tästä vielä iloksi muutu.
Hello! As you can see from the title here won´t be a lot of text about cosplay this time and there is a reason for it... I haven´t done almost anything. My inspiration hides somewhere but I guess it´ll come back.

Viime perjantaina käväisin Tampereella. Oli muuten kenties ihanin päivä pitkään aikaan, sen jälkeinen aika on tuntunut oudon tyhjältä... Mutta tämä reissu liittyi cossaamiseen siten, että sain hommattua joitain kangasvärejä. Tiedän kyllä, etteivät todennäköisesti tule riittämään, etenkään Corneliaan tarkoitetut, mutta ainahan niitä voi hommata lisää - enkä sitä paitsi aloita vielä niiden leggingsien tekemistä. Eihän se kovin suuri projekti olisi, mutta tässä on eräs toinen projekti kesken... Ne jotka tietävät, tietävät, mutten lähde tässä sitä nyt selittelemään. Ostin myös uuden lävistyskorun!
Last Friday I visited Tampere. By the way it was the most lovely day for a long time and time after that has felt pretty empty... But what does this have to do with cosplay? Well, I bought some fabric paints. I know there isn´t enough paint (and when it comes to Cornelia there DEFINITELY isn´t) but I can always buy some more - and I´m not starting to paint those leggings yet. It ain´t a big project but there is another, not completed project... Those who know, well, they know but I won´t explain everything here. I also bought some new jewellery to my lip piercing!

 Law oli myös itse asiassa meillä yötä, ennen kuin lähdimme Tampereelle. Hänestäkin on olemassa hyvin edustava kuva, mutta taidan olla laittamatta sitä tänne... Sanottakoon vaikka näin, että ilmensi unen määrän todella hyvin (zombie-duckfacella mennään) :DD
I went to Tampere with Law who had stayed over night at my home. I have a very beautiful picture of her but I guess I won´t put it here... Let´s say that it really expresses how much she did sleep (she has "a zombie-duckface" in the pic) :DD

Voisin tässä kohtaa puhua hieman siitä, mitä kaikkea sitä on vuoden aikana tullut animen suhteen katsottua, ja mitä kaikkea seuraan tällä hetkellä. Kuten varmaan olen jossakin vaiheessa kenties maininnut, aloitin animenkatsomiseni Fruits Basketista. Sen jälkeen seurasi Death Note, ja onnistuin jopa katsomaan sen Kannazuki no Mikon loppuun. Itse asiassa rakastuin siihen sarjaan sen verran pahasti, että siitä on tulossa kenties kolmekin cossia jossain kohtaa, kaksi niistä on täysin varmoja.
Tämän jälkeen taisinkin aloittaa ikuisuusprojektini Naruton, jota en vieläkään ole saanut kovin pitkälle katsottua, kenties siksi, että katson sen verran montaa sarjaa kerrallaan. Nyt olen jostain kumman syystä erikoistunut kahteen sarjatyyppiin: joko maratonsarjoihin, kuten Naruto tai D.Gray-man, tai sitten lyhyempiin sarjoihin, kuten Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Loveless tai Zombie-Loan.
Minkälaisesta sitten varsinaisesti pidän? Kuten ylemmistä voi huomata, katson melko lailla kaikkea, mutta yleensä jokaiseen seuraamaani sarjaan liittyy vähintään psykologisen tason taistelu, kuten Death Notessa. Yleensä "etsin" animeni itse, mutta pariin sarjaan olen törmännyt kavereideni kautta, ja esimerkiksi Puella Magi Madoka Magicaa suositeltiin minulle - ja yllätin jopa itseni pitämällä siitä kirjaimellisesti ensisekunnista lähtien. Kaikista sarjoista en tule cossaamaan mitään, mutta eipä minun toisaalta tarvitsekaan. Sekään ei haittaa, onko sarja mainstream vai vähän vähemmän tunnettu. Olen itse asiassa tehnyt cossisuunnitelmani jo moneksi vuodeksi eteenpäin (kyllä, olen aikatauluttaja), ja sieltä löytyy sekä mainstream-hahmoja että joitakin vähän tuntemattomampia. Ja kyllä, muitakin naiscosseja on tulossa kuin Cornelia, mutta eipäs kerrotakaan kaikkea vielä, vaan yritetään selvitä ensi vuodestakin :DD Tällä hetkellä seuraan aktiivisimmin Zombie-Loania, kun sain Lovelessin katottua. MyAnimeListissa nimimerkkini on muuten ShinigamiUchiha, etsikää sieltä jos huvittaa.
I could now speak a little about anime and what I´ve watched during this year and what I´m watching now. I guess I´ve mentioned before that the first anime I watched was Fruits Basket. After that I watched Death Note and I managed to watch Kannazuki no Miko too. Actually I loved KnM so much that I´ll do maybe three cosplays about it someday - two of them will be surely made.
After that I started the project that seems to not have an end and that project is called Naruto. I haven´t watched it a lot and the reason may be that I start to watch something new after I´ve completed the first one. Now I can see that there are two types of series I watch: there may be a loooot of episodes (Naruto or D.Gray-man for example) or only 10-15 episodes (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Loveless or Zombie-Loan for example).
And what kind of anime do I like? As you can see I watch almost everything but usually there will be some kind of battle, even if it´s a psychological battle (like in Death Note). Usually I "look for" animes myself but I´ve found a couple of series with my friends and for example Puella Magi Madoka Magica was recommended to me - and I surprised even myself by liking it from the very first second, literally. I won´t be making a cosplay from every series I watch but there was no need to do that. Also it doesn´t matter if series are mainstream or not so well-known. I´ve actually made my cosplay plans to a next few years already (yes, I love making timetables) and there will be mainstream characters and some characters aren´t so well-known. And yes, there will be more woman cosplays than Cornelia but let´s not tell everything yet, first I have to "survive" from the next year :DD Right now I´m watching Zombie-Loan because I completed Loveless. At MyAnimeList my nickname is ShinigamiUchiha so find me there if you want to.

Siinä oli hieman selvennystä ja randomia pälätystä. Olen pahoillani kuvien puutteesta, mutta eipä ole oikeastaan ollut kuvailtavaakaan. Jotkut saattavat ihmetellä, miksi tein näinkin randomin päivityksen, mutta halusin saada tämän pois jaloista alkuviikolla. Loppuviikolla kun olen vihdoin ja viimein lähdössä sinne Pariisiin, sikäli mikäli en nyt onnistu tulemaan kipeäksi. Olen halunnut kyseiseen kaupunkiin siitä lähtien kun olin nelivuotias, ja vihdoinkin pääsen sinne! Todennäköisesti ryhmämme kirjoittaa blogia matkan aikana, ja todennäköisesti heittelen linkkiä siihen jonnekin päin nettiä! Kenties Ranskastakin löytyisi jotain cosplayta hyödyttävää... ;)
There was some random speaking now. I´m sorry of the lack of the pictures but there hasn´t really been anything to take pictures of. Some people may wonder why I did so random update like this but I wanted to do this in the beginning of the week because at Thursday I´ll be leaving to Paris (in the case I don´t become sick). I´ve wanted to travel to the said town since I was four years old and finally I´m able to go there! Our group will write a blog during the time we´ll be there and I guess I´ll give a link to that one too (later but I´ll give it)! Maybe from France I find something  that will be good for cosplay too... ;)

Euran manga-päivä/The manga day of Eura

Hei vain! Varsinaisesti mitään cosplayhin liittyvää ei nyt ole tulossa, mutta animeen ja mangaan kyllä. Tänään järjestettiin Eurassa pienimuotoinen manga-päivä, mikä olikin mukava lisäys nuorison tapahtumakalenteriin. Kovin paljon nuoria en kyllä bongannut, mutta minä ja Ciel pyörimme paikalla suunnilleen neljä tuntia, eli tapahtuman ajan. Kovin suuri tapahtuma ei ollut, mutta toisaalta se ei haitannutkaan - hyvä, että tällainen järjestettiin.
Hello! I won´t be talking about cosplay now but this has something to do with anime and manga. There was today the manga day at Eura. It was meant to children and the young people (why not adults too but mostly to those I mentioned). There wasn´t a lot of young people but Ciel and I were there about four hours - that means we were there the whole time. It wasn´t a big event but it didn´t matter - it´s good that something like this happens sometimes.

Tapahtuma pidettiin Euran kirjastossa, ja siellä oli näytillä mangaa, animea ja figuureja. J-rock soi taustalla koko ajan. Onneksi paikalla sai ottaa kuvia, ja muutaman otinkin. Mai tuli noin kahdelta kirjastolle opettamaan piirtämistä - joskaan minä en niinkään piirtänyt, en ainakaan ohjeiden mukaan. Toimin enemmän valokuvaajana ja piirtelin vähän mitä sattuu... Ups.
We were at Eura´s library and there were mangas and animes on the tables (look at the pictures because my explanation sounds weird) and there were some figures too. J-rock was played on the background all the time. I was lucky because I got the permission to take a few pictures. Mai came to the library about 2 p.m. to teach drawing - well, I didn´t draw very much and if I did, I didn´t draw as was told to draw. I took a few pictures there too and I did draw some random stuff... Oops.

The woman I talked to a few times but I forgot to ask her name.. ^^'

Mostly of Itachi and Cornelia, maybe my evening party cosplay and I guess I´ll start making something to Souichi too! My friend asked me to do a costume for him and the character he´ll cosplay will be a male!-version of Skyrim´s Dark Brotherhood´s Astrid... I have never worked with that kind of leather... But I guess I can do it!

Seuraavan cossin aloittelua!/Beginning to make the next costume!

Hei vain! Olen viettänyt tässä nyt hieman hiljaiseloa, mikä johtuu kahdesta syystä: en ensinnäkään ole saanut kovin paljon vielä tehtyä, ja toinen syy oli koeviikkoni, joka ei keskittymisestä huolimatta mennyt ihan täysin putkeen. Mutta pidemmittä puheitta itse asiaan.
Hello! I haven´t written for a while and there are two reasons why I haven´t: the first is that I haven´t done much yet and the second is my exam week - despite my concentrating to the subjects it didn´t go very well. But let´s go to the topic.

Olen pahoillani huonosta kuvanlaadusta, mutta kamerani ei ollut mukana. Tämä kuva ei liity Itachiin sitten millään tavalla, mutta Corneliaan kylläkin. Siinä on siis kenkä, jota lähden toivon mukaan piakkoin työstämään oikeanlaiseksi. Tiedän varsin hyvin sen, että Cornelialla ei ole korkoja, mutta minulla ei myöskään ole älyttömästi rahaa tai mahdollisuuksia käydä kirpputoreilla, ja koska nuo maksoivat 4 e/pari ollen vielä oikean kokoisetkin, päätin ottaa ne. Projektina näiden suhteen olisi maalata ne ja tehdä muutamia lisäyksiä.
I´m sorry about the bad quality but I didn´t have my camera with me. This pic has nothing to do with Itachi but it has a lot to do with Cornelia. That´s the shoe I´ll modify soon. I know that Cornelia has no heels but I don´t have a lot of money or possibilities to go to the flea market. Those shoes costed only 4 e/pair and they were right size so I decided to take them. The project with these will be painting them and making a few enhancements.

Sitten siihen Itachiin. Olen päässyt itse asiassa pidemmälle kuin mitä kuvat antavat ymmärtää, mutta en kovin paljon. Aloitin siitä, että väänsin otsapannan oikeanlaiseksi. Minulla oli kyseinen panta jo valmiina, eikä sen modaaminen ole kovin vaikeaa (ainakaan en usko niin). Sen muokkaus on kuitenkin vielä kesken.
Let´s speak about Itachi then. I´ve actually done more than the pictures tell but not much more. I started with modifying the headband. I had one of them already and modifying it isn´t very hard (at least I don´t believe so). The modifying isn´t finished yet.

Kaikki yllä olevat kuvat liittyvät Akatsuki-takin pilvien tekemiseen. Yllättävän mukavaa touhua, vaikka välillä pisti raivostuttamaan se, että kunnon referenssikuvaa ei löytynyt sitten kirveelläkään, vaan pilvet olivat jatkuvasti hieman eri mallisia. Kompromisseilla tilanteesta kuitenkin selvittiin - jo siinä kohtaa, kun jouduin käyttämään leivinpaperia kaavapaperin sijasta. Ja, kuten huomata saattaa, tämän vaiheen jälkeen piti hieman siivota... Tarkoituksena on siis tehdä pilvet valkoisesta puuvillasta, sen jälkeen maalata niihin punainen osa ja ommella takkiin kiinni.
All those pictures tell about making the clouds of the Akatsuki cloak. They were surprisingly nice to do but sometimes I got a bit annoyed because there was no good reference picture. The clouds were always a little bit different from the other pictures. I solved the problem with compromises. And, as you can see, I had to clean after doing that part of this project... I made the clouds from the white cotton and the plan is to paint the red part and then sew them to the cloak.

Ei, en ole murtanut jalkaani, vaan tein Itachin shoecovereiden kaavoja. Ohjeet löysin täältä, kyseisen tekstin otsikossa sanotaan "Yuukon seksisaappaat", joten etteköhän tunnista tekstin sillä perusteella. Tuossa tehdään kyllä pidempivartisia saappaita, mutta ajattelin soveltaa ohjetta myös näihin kenkiin. Alemmasta kuvasta voi huomata, että pienehköjä haavojakin tuli, mutta eipä se mitään haitannut :D Meinasin tosin myös tökätä vahingossa sakset akillesjänteeseeni, älkääkä missään nimessä kysykö, miten se tehdään... En nimittäin tosiaan tiedä. Onneksi en leikannut tuota auki mattopuukolla, kuten ensin ajattelin. Käytän shoecovereihin jo tutuksi käynyttä enstexiä, sillä totesin sen kääntöpuolen oikean väriseksi, ja kangas on melko jäykkää, joten uskoisin sen olevan sopivaa.
No, I haven´t broken my leg, I just made Itachi´s shoecovers. I found the tutorial from here
 It´s only in Finnish but there are a few pictures. The text I mean is titled "Yuukon seksisaappaat" so I guess you´ll notice it. Well, she made thigh boots but I decided to use the tutorial when making my shoes. You can see that I got a little injuries (that´s one of them) but it didn´t matter :D Well, I almost poked the scissors to my Achilles tnedon and don´t ask how it can be done... I really don´t know. Thank God I didn´t cut that thing open with the carpet knife as I first planned. The fabric I´ll use to the shoecovers is enstex (surprise surprise!) because it was right colour and the fabric is pretty inflexible so I guess it´ll be good.

...ja taas totean että inhoan hymyäni... Mutta joo, noiden tarkoitus on havainnollistaa uutta häivytyskoruani, joka derpisti saapui noin viikko Traconin jälkeen. No, parempi myöhään kuin ei milloinkaan (kuten tilatulle binderilleni kävi, T-Kingdomilta tilasin ja ikinä ei saapunut, Aku Ankan tuuri iski taas). Hymyillessä koru näkyy lähietäisyydeltä, poker facena vedettäessä ei niinkään paljon. Koru tilattiin CrazyFactorilta, ja tarkoitus olisi tilata vielä korvakoruihinkin häivytyskorut.
...and again I can say that I hate my smile... But, the meaning of those pictures is to show how well my new piercing jewelry works. The jewelry arrived about week after Tracon. Well, rather late than never (my ordered binder never arrived, I ordered it from T-Kingdom, I guess it´s my Donald Duck - luck again). When I smile you can see the jewelry from a short distance and with poker face it can´t be seen. I ordered that from CrazyFactor and I should order same kind of jewelry to my earpiercings too.

Hello! Here are the answers to the questions that I got! c:

1. Mikä cosplayssa viehättää sinua eniten?/What is the most interesting thing in cosplay?

Hmmm... Varmaan se, että saa joskus ottaa irtiottoa arjesta, ja olla hetken aikaa joku muu. Se, että saa eläytyä hahmoon täysin, on todella upea kokemus. Myös itse cossien tekeminen on tietty oma viehätyksensä, siksi teenkin itse (en silti tuomitse niitä, jotka eivät tee, tapansa kullakin) - vaikka välillä tuntuisikin siltä, että hermot menevät pahemman kerran.
Hmmm... I guess that the most interesting thing is being someone else for a while. When you really feel like the character and act like him/her it´s fabulous experiment. Making the costumes is very interesting too and that´s why I do them by myself (I´m not judging those who don´t, it´s their way and I have no word to say against it) - even if it sometimes feels like "hitting head to the wall".

2. Mikä taas ei?/And what ain´t so interesting?

Cosplayssa oikeastaan kaikki on omalla tavallaan viehättävää tai mielenkiintoista, mutta jos on pakko valita, meikkaaminen on minulle se kaikkein pahin ongelma. Normaalisti en käytä meikkiä ollenkaan, ja kun con on tulossa, yksinkertaisintakin meikkiä on pakko harjoitella kauan. Olen jo pyytänyt meikkitutorialin vuoden 2015 Frostbite-cossiini, sillä kyseisellä hahmolla tulee olemaan astetta mielenkiintoisemmat meikit...
When it comes to cosplay everything feels interesting but if I have to choose, doing the make-up is the worst problem. When I don´t have costumes on I don´t have make-up at all and when con comes closer I have to practise for the most simply make-up for a really long while. I´ve already asked a make-up tutorial to my next Frostbite-cosplay because the character has very interesting make-up... And this cosplay will be seen year 2015.

3. Milloin aloitit cossaamisen?/When did you start cosplaying?

Tracon 7, vuonna 2012. Silloin tosin minulla oli kaappicossi, mutta silloin kävin ensimmäisen kerran conissa, ja minulla oli jonkinlainen cossi päälläni, joten voisin sanoa, että silloin.
Tracon 7, year 2012. I had a "closet-cosplay" but that was my first con and I had some kind of costume on so I could say it was back then.

4. Mikä oli ensimmäinen cossisi?/What was your first cosplay?

Ensimmäinen cossini oli jonkinlainen versio Draco Malfoysta. Kuva alempana, © Law. Kuten huomaatte, en ollut siihen aikaan keksinyt vielä bindaamista... Eikä upea Pimeyden Piirtonikaan näy koko kuvassa.
My first cosplay was random version of Draco Malfoy. Look at the picture, © Law. As you can see I had no idea back then what binder was... And my fabulous Dark Mark can´t be seen in the whole pic.

 5. Miksi aloitit cosplayn?/Why did you start cosplaying?

Olin lukenut cosplaysta jo useita vuosia aikaisemmin, ja kun Law kysyi minua ja Gurea mukaan viime vuoden Traconiin, vastasin myöntävästi. Tämän jälkeen päätin tosissani aloittaa cossaamisen, sillä eipä minulla muitakaan harrastuksia ollut. Piakkoin huomasin omaavani todella upean harrastuksen, ja nyt en luopuisi siitä mistään hinnasta.
When I was younger I got to know about cosplay from W.I.T.C.H - magazine and when Law asked me and Gure to come with her to Tracon last year I said yes. After that I decided to begin cosplaying because I had no other hobbies. Soon I understood how wonderful hobby cosplay really was and I have no will to give up on it.

6. Mielestäsi paras tekemäsi cossi tähän mennessä?/What is your best cosplay you´ve done during this year?

Paras cossini taisi olla tämänkertainen Ayame Sohma. Pidin siitä cosseistani kaikkein eniten. Myös James onnistui hyvin, mutta Ayame tuntui jotenkin vielä paremmalta... Kenties enemmän oma hahmo?
I think my best cosplay has been Ayame Sohma. I just liked it the most. James was very good too but Ayame felt better... Maybe it was more like my own character?

7. Entä huonoin?/And the worst?

Huonoin itsetehty cossi noista kolmesta on Sasuke. En sano, että se olisi ollut huono, mutta huonoin. Yksityiskohtia jäi puuttumaan, ja asun kanssa tuli kiire. Se oli myös epämukavin pitää päällä. Hahmo taas on suosikkini, vaikka mistä sarjasta katsottaisiin, Sasuke voittaa kaikki, mutta cossini ei tehnyt valitettavasti niin paljon oikeutta hahmolle kuin olisi voinut.
The worst of the cosplays I´ve made myself is Sasuke. I don´t say that it was bad but it was the worst. I didn´t make everything to the cosplay and I had to hurry with that costume. Not to say it was the worst one to keep on. The character is my favourite and no one can beat Sasuke but my cosplay wasn´t so good as it could have been.

8. Jos et olisi aloittanut cosplayta, millaista elämäsi olisi nyt?/If you didn´t start cosplaying what kind of life would you been living now?

Elämäni olisi edelleen tylsää ja väritöntä. En voi sanoa, että asiat olisivat aina olleet parhaimmin, ja samalla linjalla jatkettaisiin. Sosiaalista elämääkään tuskin olisi... Puhumattakaan parisuhteesta.
My life would be boring and colourless. I can´t say that I´ve done well my whole life and if I didn´t cosplay I would continue that way. I guess I would have no social life... Not to mention my relationship.

 9. Millä kriteereillä valitset cossattavan hahmon?/When you choose the character, what criterions do you use?

Ensimmäinen kriteeri on se, kuinka paljon hahmosta pidän. Seuraava on sen vaikeusasteen määrittäminen, ja se, haluanko pitää kyseisen hahmon pukua päälläni. Jos tuntisin oloni kotoisaksi Monster Hunter Oragen Ailee Jeskarin asussa, tekisin hänet alta aikayksikön, mutta valitettavasti niin ei ole. Pidän muutenkin enemmän mieshahmoista, vaikka yksi vuosi tulee olemaan täynnä pelkkiä naiscosseja, ja niitä on ripoteltu pari muuallekin.
The first criterion of course is that how much I like the character. Next is making clear how difficult it is to make and do I like the costume. If I felt like "being in home" while cosplaying Ailee Jeskar from Monster Hunter Orage I would do that cosplay right away but unfortunately I don´t like the costume (or I like but I don´t want to keep it on me). I prefer male characters but one year will be filled with female characters and there are a few later too.

 10. Paras con, jossa olet ollut?/The best con you´ve visited?

Ehdottomasti tämän vuoden Tracon! Myös kevään Tampere Kuplii oli aika huippu, mutta tämä Tracon voitti kaikki muut.
This year´s Tracon! Tampere Kuplii in March was also wonderful but this Tracon won every con I´ve visited.

11. Mitä conia suosittelisit ensikertalaiselle?/What con you would suggest to a person who is going to his/her first con?

 Traconia. Sieltä aloitin itse, ja se on oma con-suosikkini Suomen coneista.
Tracon. I started from it and personally it´s my favourite con in Finland.

12. Jos kavereitasi ei ole lähdössä coniin, menetkö sinne vai jätätkö menemättä?/If there´s no one coming with you to the con, will you go or not?
 
Jos mahdollista, menen. Coneista saa mukavasti uusiakin kavereita!
If possible I go. You can get new friends from con!

Hei vain! Ja anteeksi kuvaton postaus...
Lauantaini tosiaan muuttui hieman tylsäksi sen jälkeen, kun sain mitoosista ja meioosista tiedot ajettua päähäni, ja jostain kummasta sain idean tehdä kysymyspostauksen! Eli, rakkaat ihmiset, kyselkääpä Shinigamilta kysymyksiä cosplaysta, elämästä ja vaikka sitten siitä kengännumerostakin, jos välttämättä haluatte :D Toivoisin kuitenkin suhteellisen korrekteja kysymyksiä, eli ihan överiksi ei sitten mielellään vedetä. Aikaa kysellä on 24 tuntia TAI siihen asti, kun kommentteja on 25 (taidan odottaa liikoja), sillä se on enimmäismäärä, mihin vastaan. Kahdella kielellä kirjoittaminen nimittäin vie oman aikansa, jota minulla ei valitettavasti tänä viikonloppuna aivan älyttömästi ole, ja videokameramme on jossain ei-olemisessa, toisin sanoen kaikessa (tai kuten normaalisti sanotaan, hukkasin sen). Web-kameraakaan minulla ei ole... Mutta joo, kyselkää niitä kysymyksiä! c;
Hello! And I´m sorry but there are no pictures this time...
My Saturday became a little boring after studying mitosis and meiosis. I thought for a while and then I got an idea to do this update! Well, I´d like you people to ask Shinigami (=me) some questions about cosplay, life and if you really want to you can ask stuff like "what size are your shoes" :D Still I hope that there won´t be unpolite questions because they are just annoying and not very nice. You have 24 hours time to ask questions OR to the point when there are 25 comments (I guess I wait for too much). It takes time to write in two languages and I don´t have much time this weekend. And I´m not sure where our videocamera is... It doesn´t exist and it exists in everything (or like we usually say: it´s lost). I don´t have web camera though... But yeah, ask the questions!

Tracon 8

Hei vain kaikki ihmiset ja anteeksi postaukseni myöhästyminen, nettini on ollut tismalleen yhtä nopea kuin etana näinä muutamana päivänä conin jälkeen... Mutta, Tracon 8 on nyt takanapäin, ja otan nopean katsauksen viime viikonloppuun - kera kuvien, kuten yleensäkin.
Hi everybody! First I want to apologize because my blog update is late but my Internet hasn´t been working very well... But, Tracon 8 is now over and now I´ll take a look at last weekend - with pictures as usually.

Lauantai 14.9/Saturday the 14th of September

Lähdimme Lawin kanssa kohti Tamperetta siinä kahdeksan aikaan aamulla. Olin jo heittänyt cossin päälleni, joten siitä ei tarvinnut enää kantaa murhetta. Enemmän huoletti se, miten onnistuisin kävelemään kengilläni koko lauantain (en ole tottunut korkoihin) ja päivän lopulla jalkani eivät tunteneetkaan yhtään mitään. No, saavuimme Tampereelle siinä noin puoli kymmeneltä aamulla, ja heti ensimmäiseksi törmäsimme muutamaan ystäväämme, minun panikoidessani ennakkotuomaroinneista.
Piakkoin pääsimmekin sisälle, ja reissasin backstagelle niin nopeasti kuin korkokengilläni pääsin. Löysin cosplay-mammani samantien, ja kävin sen jälkeen heittämässä hieman tavaroitani pukuhuoneeseen. Piakkoin tämän jälkeen alkoi Fruits Basket-miitti, joka kesti vain vähän aikaa (itse lähdin ensimmäisenä ennakkotuomaroinnn vuoksi), mutta saimme sentään otettua muutamia kuvia.
Tuomaroinnin jälkeen hengasimme vain randomisti ympäri con-aluetta, ja yhdessä vaiheessa sain päähäni, että halusin photoshootin Ayamesta. Sellainenhan sitten otettiin, ja tässä on tulos:
We left our homevillage with Law at 8 a.m to go to Tampere. I had my costume on so it wasn´t the topic of my panic. My shoes were worse problem because I wasn´t sure how to walk with them the whole day (I´m not used to the heels) and after Saturday my legs didn´t feel anything. Well, we arrived to Tampere about 9.30 a.m and we found some of our friends pretty soon. I had my "competition panic"-mode on.
Soon we were able to enter Tampere-talo and I walked to the backstage as quick as possible with my heels. I found my "cosplay-mom" right away and then I went to bring some of my stuff to the dressing room. Soon after this began Fruits Basket-meeting that lasted only a short time (I left first because of the pre-judging) but we were able to take some pictures.
After pre-judging we just walked around the con-place and at some time I thought it would be very nice to take a photoshoot of Ayame. Well, we took it and here it is:

Aaand hello again!~

Piakkoin sitten olikin aika mennä takaisin backstagelle odottelemaan kisaa Cielin ja muiden kanssa. Ensin olivat WCS-karsinnat, sitten aloittelijoiden sarja, ja lopulta kokeneiden sarja. Oloni oli hieman heikko, sillä syöminen oli jäänyt aika vähiin, mutta backstagella söin sitten hieman, etten pyörtyisi lavalle.
Traconin kisa oli hieno kokemus. Lava ei ollut alkuunkaan niin pelottava kuin olin aluksi luullut, ja tunnelma oli rennompi kuin Animeconissa. Olen tyytyväinen kisan tuloksiin, eikä minulla niistä valittamista olekaan.
Soon I had to go back to the backstage with Ciel and the others to wait for the competition. First there were WCS-preliminaries, then the beginners and then the experienced. I felt a little weak because I hadn´t been able to eat a lot but at backstage I ate a little because I didn´t want to pass out at the stage.
Tracon´s competetion was very nice experience. The stage wasn´t so scary than I thought and the atmosphere was more relaxed than at Animecon. I´m happy for the winners!

Melkein heti kisan jälkeen lähdimme Lawin kanssa hotellille vaihtamaan iltabilecosseja päällemme. Itse cossasin sitä casual!Miku Hatsunea, josta on kuvia nähtävissä deviantARTissa, etsikää vain nimimerkkiä TheShinigamiUchiha. Itse bileissä en taaskaan ollut, vaan juttelin uuden tuttavuuteni Trixenan kanssa ulkona (hän muuten sitten otti ne Miku-kuvat, laatu ei ole hänen, vaan kamerani syytä). Lähdimme takaisin hotellille joskus puolenyön jälkeen, ja siellä sitten päätin syödäkin jotain, nimittäin mozzarella-pesto-leivän. Nukkumaan pääsimme noin kello kahdelta, ellen väärin muista.
Soon after the competition me and Law went to the hotel to change the evening party cosplays on. I cosplayed as casual!Miku Hatsune. I have photos of her on deviantART, just search for the nickname TheShinigamiUchiha. I wasn´t at the real party but I was outside talking with my new friend Trixena (she was the one who took  the Miku pictures but the quality is my camera´s fault, not hers). We went back to the hotel after midnight and I decided to eat something and this something was mozzarella-pesto-sandwich. We went to bed about 2 a.m if I don´t remember wrong.

Sunnuntai 15.9/Sunday the 15th of September

Heräsin noin kahdeksalta, ja huomasin saaneeni järkyttävän flunssan. Muistakaa tosiaan ihmiset laittaa kunnolla niitä vaatteita päälle syyskuussa, vaikka kuinka lämmintä tuntuisikin olevan... No, ehdin Tampere-talolle kymmeneksi Kagen, Yuurein ja Rikan paneeliin "Cosplay-aloittelijan opas". Pidin heidän paneelistaan, se oli kattava ja hyvin pidetty. Tämän jälkeen tarkoitukseni oli käydä katsomassa Naru Dossun Naruto-aiheinen paneeli, mutta lähdinkin viiden sekunnin harkinnan jälkeen cosplay-haasteeseen mukaan kaverini pyydettyä minua siihen. Hävisimme sen, mutta olipahan eeppinen feilaus! Koska olin casual!Miku myös sunnuntaina, sain sitten itselleni sen lohdutuspalkintona ollaan purjon. Ilmeeni taisi olla näkemisen arvoinen siinä kohtaa.. :D
I woke up at 8 a.m and I noticed that I got a huge cold. People, remember to use enough clothes in September even if it feels warm (but in reality there are only about ten degrees)... I arrived to Tampere-talo at 10 a.m to watch the speach of Kage, Yuurei and Rika. I liked their speach because it was very well done. After that I thought that I would go to watch Naru Dossu´s speach (the topic was Naruto) but I decided to go to the cosplay-challenge when my friend asked me there. We lost it but it was EPIC fail! Because I was casual!Miku at Sunday too I got the leek. I guess my face was pretty priceless.. :D

Lähdimme kohti kotikyläämme noin kello 17, ja kotiin pääsi "hieman" väsynyt porukka. Autossa aloimme jo suunnitella tulevia cossejamme Cielin kanssa, ja seuraava päivitykseni tulee varmaankin koskemaan joko Itachia tai Corneliaa. Riippuu hieman, kumman eteen jaksan tehdä jotakin ensin. Mutta, tässä vaiheessa Shinigami kiittää ja kumartaa, ja haluaa mainita yhden asian: KIITOS KAIKILLE IHANASTA TRACONISTA NRO 8!! <3
We started our trip to our homevillage about 5 p.m and to home arrived "a little" tired group. In the car we started to speak about our next cosplays with Ciel and my next update will be something about Itachi or Cornelia. Depends on how lazy I am :D But now Shinigami says thank you for reading this, bows down and wants to say one more thing: THANK YOU EVERYBODY FOR LOVELY 8TH TRACON!! <33
