Ensi vuoden cossit./The cosplays for the next year.

Hei vain, näin parin päivän jälkeen. Tämä päivitys tulee hieman ajoissa, enhän ole vielä aloittanut edes Traconinkaan cossia, mutta toisaalta ei ole muutakaan tekemistä, joten päätinpä tehdä tämänkin. Suunnitelmat pääsivät hieman muuttumaan, Desucon Frostbiten muututtua K-18-tapahtumaksi. Omalla kohdallani tämä juttu oli itse asiassa melkeinpä tervetullut (vaikka ensimmäiset viisi minuuttia uutisen kuulemisen jälkeen teki mieli heitellä tavaroita pitkin poikin huonetta), sillä olen lähdössä tuossa melko piakkoin Ranskaan, ja sen jälkeen meneekin hetki, että saan rahat kasaan. Mutta, pidemmittä puheitta, ne cossit!

Hello again after these two days. This update comes a little bit early since I haven´t done almost anything for my Tracon cosplay but right now I have nothing more to do so I decided to do this. My plans for the next year changed a little when Desucon Frostbite became R-18-event. When it comes to my situation this thing was pretty positive (well, first five minutes after hearing the news I wanted to throw random things all over my room) because I´m pretty soon going to France and after that I need a while to get some money. But with no longer speaks, those cosplays!

Tampere Kuplii 2014:

Itachi Uchiha, Naruto Shippuden

Itachin piti olla Frostbite-cossini, mutta muutoksien jälkeen siirsinkin hänet suosiolla Tampere Kupliiseen. Se on toki pienempi tapahtuma, ja sinne oli suunnitteilla yksinkertaisempi cossi, mutta miksikäs Itachi ei sinnekin kävisi? Onhan niitä muitakin ollut, joten ihan yhtä hyvin minä voin pomppia messiin. Asua varten ei ole valmiina vielä yhtään mitään, mutta toisaalta, eipä vielä tarvitse ollakaan.

Itachi was supposed to be my cosplay at Frostbite but after the rulechanges I decided to cosplay him at Tampere Kuplii. It´s not as big event as Frostbite and I was planning to do more simply cosplay to Kuplii but now I asked myself: Why not Itachi? There has been a lot of Itachi cosplayers so I can do that too. I have no materials etc for this cosplay yet but this isn´t my "headache" yet.

Cornelia Hale, W.I.T.C.H

Kuten jo moneen kertaan olen todennut, luin cosplaysta alkujaan W.I.T.C.H-lehdestä, ja tämän cossin olisi tarkoitus olla enempi nostalgiacossi (vaikka varmaan kisaan menenkin, mutta silti). Cornelia oli tuolloinen lempihahmoni, joten hahmopäätös oli aika yksinkertainen. Olihan niitä muitakin vaihtoehtoja (mm. Orube tai Cedricin ihmismuoto), mutta niistä luovuin aika nopeasti. Olen tähän saanut hommattua jo kengät. Löysin ne täysin vahingossa, mutta eipä sillä, ne maksoivat 4 euroa, joten mukaan lähtivät.

I´ve said this a few times but I´ll tell it again now. When I was nine I read about cosplay from W.I.T.C.H- comic magazine and this cosplay is going to be "a nostalgia cosplay" (I guess I´m going to the competition but still, the said reason is the real one). Back then Cornelia was my favorite character so the decision was pretty easy to do. I had other options (Orube, Cedric´s human form etc) but I gave up with those ideas pretty quickly. I already have shoes to this cosplay. I found them by accident but they only cost 4 euros so I decided to buy them.


Sunnuntai/Sunday:

Souichi Tatsumi, Koisuru Boukun

Sunnuntaina nähdään cossi, jonka oli tarkoitus olla Kuplii-cossini. Eli, Souichi Tatsumi yaoi-sarjasta Koisuru Boukun. Tutumpi sarja saattaa olla joillekin nimellä The Tyrant Who Falls in Love. Olisi mukava tehdä tästä paricossi, koska sarjassa tämä herra paritetaan Tetsuhiro Morinagalle, joten yksin hänen cossaamisensa... Menettelee, mutta mukavampi olisi, jos olisi pari mukana :D Tähänkään cossiin en ole vielä tehnyt mitään, ja kyllä, aion tehdä tämän itse. En halua ottaa mitään vaatekaapistani, sillä yhdetkään vaatteeni eivät kunnolla täsmää häneen. Tarkistettu on.

At Sunday you will see that cosplay that was supposed to be my Kuplii cosplay. This is Souichi Tatsumi from yaoi-serie Koisuru Boukun. The said anime/manga may be more known with the name "The Tyrant Who Falls in Love". It would be nice if this could be a pair cosplay because in the anime/manga Souichi is with Tetsuhiro Morinaga so cosplaying this guy alone... Would be okay but it would be nicer if I had a Morinaga cosplayer with me :D I have done nothing for this cosplay yet and yes, I´m going to make this cosplay by myself. I don´t want to take anything from my clothes because there is NOTHING I could use. I´ve checked that.



Tracon 2014:

Grell Sutcliff, Kuroshitsuji

Traconissa olisi tarkoitus siis cossata Grell Sutcliffia, kaikkien rakastamaa shinigamia Kuroshitsujista. Heti kolmospokkarin avattuani retkahdin Grellin hahmoon täysin, ja hän siirtyi cossilistalleni valoakin nopeammin. Olen yrittänyt etsiä tähän jo kenkiä, jotta saisin ne tehtyä - olen nimittäin toivoton kenkien tekemisen kanssa, olen vain jotenkin laiska tehdessäni niitä. Myös Death Scythen & silmälasit olen harkinnut työstäväni tässä piakkoin, ettei jäisi sitten mitään roikkumaan parin päivän varaan - vaikka tämänkin vuoden Tracon-cossista pitäisi huolehtia...


At Tracon 2014 I´m going to cosplay Grell Sutcliff from Kuroshitsuji - he´s the shinigami that everybody loves! With the same second when I opened the third Kuroshitsuji book I completely fell in love with Grell´s character and he was put to my cosplay list faster than the light can move. I´ve tried to look for the shoes that I could use in this cosplay because I´d like to do them asap - I´m hopeless with shoes. I just become sooooo lazy when I make the shoes. I´ve also decided to make the Death Scythe and the eyeglasses soon that there would be nothing left to do when it´s only two days to con - yeah, I know, I should first take care of this year´s Tracon cosplay...



Siinäpä suunnitelmat vuodeksi eteenpäin! Muuten, tuosta Koisuru Boukun-cossista vielä... Tiedän hyvin, että kyseinen sarja on alaikäisiltä kielletty. Tiedän varsin hyvin myös, miksi - olenhan katsonut ja lukenut sen. Se ei kuitenkaan ole syy, miksi haluan cossata Souichia. Pidän hänestä hahmona, en niinkään siksi, että kyseinen sarja on kunnollista yaoita. Tämän maininnan päätin tehdä siksi, että ne, jotka sarjaa tietävät, saattavat yhdistää tämän myös niihin rape me-kyltteihin, joista nyt on ollut kovaa keskustelua. Itsekin olen niitä vastaan, joten tämä cossi ei myöskään ole ns. rape me-kyltin "korvike" joka ajaisi saman asian. Ei. Ei. Ei. Ja vielä kerran: EI. En sano, että kaikki olisivat yhdistäneet nämä kaksi asiaa (jos kukaan yhdisti), mutta sanoinpa kuitenkin mahdollisten väärinkäsitysten välttämiseksi.

There are my plans for the next year! Oh, about that Koisuru Boukun cosplay... I know very well that I shouldn´t watch that anime/read manga because it´s R-18. I know very well why it is rated like that - I´ve watched and read it. That´s not the reason I want to cosplay Souichi. I like him as a character. Not because of that the serie is real yaoi. I decided to write this "attention"-text because those who know anything about Koisuru Boukun could make a link to those "rape me"-signs that have been a hot topic nowadays. I´m against them as (almost) everybody is so this cosplay isn´t a substitute for that sign. No. No. No. And one last time: NO. I´m not saying that everybody linked these two things (if anybody did) but I´m saying this because I´d like to avoid the misunderstandings.
